STIRLINGSHIRE. 20 — Falkirk ( Burgh).— 28th inst., from jeweller's shop ( breaking window with pick head).— Lady's 18ct. engagement ring, set 3 diamonds and 3 rubies; lady's I8ct. engagement do., set 2 diamonds and 3 rubies ; lady's 18ot. engagement do., set 5 small diamonds in bow setting ; 7 gent's 9ct. signet do.; ( 5 gold shell do., set 3 blue, red and green coloured cheap stones ; 2 gent's gold shell signet do. ; 18ct. English lever watch, London Hall- mark, keywinding, white dial, gold hands, black chapters, worn ; 2 gold filled hunter lever do., Swiss make, keyless, white dials, black chapters and hands ; 4 gent's white metal do., Swiss make, white dials, black chapters and hands ; gent's white metal do. ; lady's gold wristlet do:, white dial, black hands and chapters, with figure 12 in red, hinges for strap; gent's white metal wristlet do., grey strap, black hands, white dial, black chapters with 12 in red ; 2 gent's white metal wristlet do., luminous dials, brown straps. Inf. to Supt. Greenhill, Falkirk. YORKSHIRE ( NOKTH RJDINU). \ 27. Scarborough ( Co.).— Adverting to Case No. 45, 1- 11- 20, Amended inf.— The Two Men suspected are not identical with Vernon Wilson, C. R. O. No. 6850- 26, and Albert Kellett, C. R. O. No. 8783- 25. Colour grey. Upholstered dk. green }> egamoid. Radiator thermometer broken. Dent in back panel. Excise licence attached, expires 31- 12- 27. 30.— P Division.— 29th inst., " Morris Cowley," 1926 model. YM- 5280. Maker's No. 116627. 11.9 H. P. Engine No. 134303. Four seater, touring body. Upholstered dk. blue leather. Black canvas hood. Two holes burnt in front seat. Bone image on radiator. A. A. badge, No. 445112. Excise licence expires 31- 12- 27. MOTOR CYCLES. DEVONSHIRE. 36.— Totnes ( Co.).— Found in possession of William Henry Medlin, C. R. O. No. 0060- 27, sentenced at Dartmouth Pol. Ct., 26- 3- 27, to 3 mos. impt. for stealing ship's provisions.— Ship's spirit compass, in metal gimbal, Sin. diameter,. Sin. high, makers J. Parkes & Son, Liverpool, thereon ; 2 Withy baskets, new, 2ft. diameter, 2ft. deep, bound with 1 ^ in. Manilla rope which forms loop handle at top, similar to those used in discharging ship's cargo, to hold about lcwt. States that he purchased the articles from 2 Danish seamen at Falmouth, but enquiry failed to locate the owner. ' Inf. to Supt. Hulland, Totnes. MISCELLANEOUS. NORTHUMBERLAND. 37. Tynemouth ( Boro.).— Case No. 42, 14- 4- 27, cancelled. Motor car has been traced and driver interrogated. RE- CONVICTIOI S. 38.— Hugh Manes, C. R. O. No. 952- 21, was sentenced at Gt. Yarmouth Q. Sess., 25- 4- 27, to 15 mos. impt. See Case No. 8, 26- 2- 27. 39.- John Hardy, C. R. O. No. 16812- 24, was sentenced at C. L. S., 26- 4- 27, to 12 mos. impt. See Case No. 17, 12- 4- 27. 40.— Sidney Jones, C. R. O. No. 2391- 18, was sentenced at C. L. S., 26- 4- 27, to 18 mos. impt. See Case No. 17, 12- 4- 27. 41.- Alfred Edward Shrimpton, C. R. O. No. 9676- 20, was, at Uxbridge P. Sess., 25- 4- 27, fined £ 10 or 2 mos. impt. See Case No. 8, 21- 4- 27. 42.— Peter Sutton, C. R. O. No. S/ 126120, was sentenced at Bow- street Pol. Ct. ( L.), 27- 4- 27, to 2 mos. impt. for being a suspected person, loitering. Pre. con. of fraud, attempted larceny, larceny ( trick and person) and minor offences at LIVERPOOL, PONTEFRACT, MORECAMBE ( Peter Sutton), LEEDS ( Arthur Taylor), SHEFFIELD ( Peter Kelly) and NORTHAMPTON ( Peter James Kelly). 43.— Hilda Green, C. R. O. No. 12163- 26, was sentenced at West Ham Pol. Ct. ( L.), 27- 4- 27, to 4 mos. impt. for stealing and receiving lady's handbags, etc. ( 3 cases). R. O. No. 2908.- 23, was, at Solithend- on- Sea P. Sess., 12- 4- 27, bound over in £ 5 for 2 yrs., P. O. Act, See Case No. 26, 14- 4- 27. 46.- Allan Edward Bowley, C. R. O.
