Sess 21 9- 1925 to 6 mos. impt. for stealing jewellery, spectacles and money from dwelling house. Method as in original case. George Watts, C. R. O. No. S/ 62892, was convicted with him. 368 Percy Alexander Victor Knell, Case No. 127 ( Vol. III.), was sentenced as Percy Victor Knell at ^ C. L. S.. 8- 9- 1925, to 9 mos. impt. for housebreaking and larceny. By stating he was an insurance agent he gained access to the premises of a boys' club and home, entered a bedroom and stole jewellery therefrom. 369. Alexander Hemmingway, Case No. 322 ( Vol. III.), was sentenced at C. C. C., 22- 9- 1925, to 3 yrs- ^ pen. and 6 yrs. p. d. for larceny ( 3 cases) and being a h. c. Stole suit- cases from railway station platforms. z William Henry, Case No. 10 ( Vol. V.), was sentenced at Marylebone Pol. Ct. ( L), 16- 9- 1925, to 6 weeks impt. for stealing a suit- case from railway station platform. • Elsie Jones, Case No. 132 ( Vol. V.), was, as Elsie Mills, at Southend- on- Sea P. Sess., 18- 9- 1925. bound over in £ 5 for 12 mos., for stealing jewellery from place of employment. ' James Woods, Case No. 447 ( Vol. V.), was sentenced at Westminster Pol. Ct. ( L), 11- 9- 1925, to 3 mos. impt. for being a suspected person loitering for the supposed purpose of committing the confidence trick. Method as in ( ii) original case. 310. Emma Jones, Case No. 124 ( Vol. VI.), was sentenced as Florence Crawford at Lambeth Pol Ct ' ( L), 22- 9- 1925 , to 3 mos. impt. for stealing a pair of shoes from shop counter. ' John Mercer, Case No. 304 ( Vol. VI.), was sentenced at Acton P. Sess. ( L), 2- 9- 1925, to 3 mos. impt. for being a suspected person loitering in the vicinity of lock- up shops.
