Mrs. Marion Jackson, b. about 1879, about 5ft, 4in., stout build, c. fair, h. golden ( believed dyed, patches of die. and grey), walks badly, believed false upper teeth, sometimes wears pince- nez, wore several rings both hands. Took a shop on long lease, paid a substantial sum into bank, a Norwich solicitor acting for her, and by using latter's name and giving bank as reference, fitted shop as draper's establishment, and obtained from various firms throughout country large quantities of wearing apparel. These articles were later disposed of at slightly over cost price. Credit was obtained to extent of several hundred pounds. Absconded 18th inst. Accompanied by Nora Jackson ( not wanted— believed daughter), b. about 1907, 5ft. 3 or 4in., e. very dk., h. black, e. ( large) dk., snub nose, good teeth, foreign appearance. Warrant issued. Came to Peterborough on or about 23rd ult., resided in slum district anil advertised in local press for large or small quantities of fowls and eggs, offering high prices. Several people sent supplies which Bell sold at prices greatly below cost, and absconded without paying. Accompanied by Albert Watts ( not wanted), b. about 1895, 5ft. 7 or 8in., medium build, c. and h. dk., clean shaven, long scar on forehead ; dress, grey suit, boots, smart appearance. Warrant issued.
