In possession of 2 attache- cases ( 1 green, 1 brown). Called on a firm of car dealers, agreed to purchase car for £ 326 8s. 9d., tendered cheque for this amount on Lloyd's Bank, Ltd., 6, Pall Mall, S. W. I, No. C2W 112119. On 16th inst., called at Beverley Branch of Westminster Bank, and presented cheque for above amount made payable to G. Reives, endorsed cheque in presence of manager and received above amount. This cheque was paid by a local firm of auctioneers to a man named Reives, who lost it together with his wallet, containing other notes, and on discover- ing his loss went to the auctioneers whose repre- sentative accompanied him to the bank to have the cheque stopped, but on arrival there found it had already been cashed. A blood stained razor was found adhering to his clothing, and at an inquest held the medical evidence showed that death was probably caused by deceased man committing suicide, and that death took place from 5 to 6 mos. previously.— B. 1889 to 1894, length 5ft, 4in„ h.
