DURHAM. 37.— West Hartlepool ( Co.).— Between 19th and 22nd inst., from church vestry.— Brown smooth leather suit- case, size about 2ift. in length, 18in. high and 6in. wide, leather handle on top, fastens with brass lock under handle, P. J. M. Kirner on inside in black ink, containing long black silk stole. — Suspicion is attached to A Man, b. about 1898, about 5ft. 6in., slender build, thin face, clean shaven, very erect; dress ( believed) fawn raincoat, collar and tie. OXFORDSHIRE. 44.- Oxford ( Co.).— 26th inst., at Headington.— Lady's Royal Enfield bicycle, black enamel, 24in. frame, 28in. wheels, new Dunlop tyre on front wheel, plated handle- bars ( upturned), with a wicker basket strapped thereon, gear case loose and rattles when machine is in motion, no pump but piece of string tied where pump is fastened, carrier on back, also step on back wheel.— Sus- picion is attached to A Boy, b. 1906 or 1907, small; dress, It. overcoat and cap.
