All communications for insertion in the POLICE GAZETTE and Supplements A and B should be addressed to THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE OF THE METROPOLIS, NEW SCOTLAND YARD, S. W. 1. HORWOOD, The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. APPREHENSIONS SOUGHT. SPECIAL NOTICE It would be of great assistance to the Criminal Record Office and Police Forces generally, if those Forces which themselves take photographs of prisoners who are subsequently dealt with at Police Courts or bound over at Sessions or Assizes, would attach a spare copy to the result form when returning it to the Criminal Record Office, for future use for identification purposes. When photographs are not taken by Police, but . the Force is in possession of one obtained from else- where, the loan of it for copying would be much appreciated. This request is not intended to apply to cases where there is already a photograph attached to the descriptive form, unless the Police Force has a more recent photograph which is a better likeness. 0 METROPOLITAN POLICE DISTRICT. 1 .— Criminal Record Office.— For escaping from Brentry Certified Institution, 29th ult.— John William Simmons, C.
