A prostitute.— Gladys Carson, b. 1897, 5ft. 7in., slim build, h. dk. brown, e. brown, good teeth ; dress, nigger brown costume, grey velour hat, brown stockings and shoes. A prostitute. Both lodged at the house in question and during the absence of occupiers, entered the servant's bedroom, bound her hands behind her and tied her feet together with rope. Bin. long, 2in. wide, composed of crowns and mono- grams alternately ; good locket, contains hair of Nelson under glass, period 1812 ; 12 gold coins and commemorative medals, including a £ 5- piece, Elizabethian period 1570, 100- franc coin ( the others are of the period 1650- 1780, Henri IV., Louis XIV.) ; about 30 gold and silver crowns and half- crowns, period 1560- 1650 ; about 100 gold seals, dated 1700- 1790, all with Tumor and Tryconnel coat- of- arms incised in stone or Tryconncl coat- of- arms and Earl's coronets ; number of curios and small gold boxes, all antique and very valuable ; pocket- book containing 4 £ 1 notes and a railway season ticket, Grantham and London, 1st class. No. 723, Series 815, available 1- 11- 22 to 31- 1- 23, name of Christopher Turnor — Suspicion is attached to A Man, b. 1887 to 1892, 5ft. 6 or 7in., slim build, c. fair, h. These coins were passed to shop- keepers at Rishton, 27th ult,, by A Youth, b. 1904. or 1905, 5ft. 6 or 7in., c. sallow, dress, dk. grey overcoat and cap ; dirty appearance.
