Convicts on Licence, persons under Police Supervision and others whose apprehensions are sought for failing to comply with the requirements of the Prevention of Crimes Act. Those bearing names marked • are Licence Holders, and should produce their licences. The first condition of a licence is that the Holder 6Iih11 pieserve it and produce ii when called upon by a Magistrate or Police Officer ; but it should be distinctly understood tlint a Licence Holder is not required to carry hi* I rexce upon him. N. B— When a circulation is cancelled, the printed matter relating to the person in question might be ruled through in red ink, without defacing the portrait. Licence Holders and Supervisees. HULL. 1226.—* Frederick Edward Edwards, aliases Frederick Brown, Edward Wilson, Frederick inside rt. thumb and back 4th rt. finger. A collier ; native of Newton. Sentenced at Derby ( Co.) Sess., 14- 7- 20, to 3 yrs. pen. for cyclestealing ( 2 cases). Liberated on licence, 13- 10- 22, to Leeds. Failed to notify his change of address 26- 10- 22. Pre. con. of cyclestealing, larceny, obtaining credit by fraud and a minor offence. Known to police at BARNARD CASTLE, CASTLEFORD, LEEDS, WAKEFIELD, CHESTERFIELD and on K and X. May be found in company of Frank Ruston, Case No. 97 ( Vol. IX.), as both men were staying at the same house and have now disappeared. Edwards, Fred Edwards and Frederick Edward Brown. C. R. O. No. 10- 18, b. 1894, 5ft. 6in., c. fair, h. lt. brown, e. grey, scar rt. side chin, May be dealt with where found if there is evidence of an offence against the Prevention of Crimes Act in such place. 2 POLICE GAZETTE SUPPLEMENT B. Friday, November 10, 1922. Sentenced at the C. C. C.. 13- 4- 20, to 3 yrs. detention in a B. I. for assault with intent to rob. Liberated on licence, 8- 8- 22, to the care of the Borstal Association. His conduct has been unsatisfactory and he has now been lost sight of. Pre. con. of minor offences. Known to police on B and E. If arrested a telegram or telephonic message should be sent to C. R. O. when arrangements will be made for an escort to fetch him. The licence will expire 12- 4- 24, after which date he must not on any account be arrested by the police. Stella Marshall, C. R. O. No. 19203- 22, b. 1901, 5ft. Oin., c. fresh, h. brown, e. grey. Sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Ct., 1- 10- 19, to 3 yrs. detention in a B. I. for theft by housebreaking. Liberated on licence, 2- 10- 22, to Cardross, Dumbartonshire. Absconded, 26- 10- 22, after committing a theft. Pre. con. of theft by housebreaking and theft. Known to police at GLASGOW. Inf. to Prison Commissioners for Scotland, Edinburgh. Apprehensions Sought. 229.— William Thompson, C. R. O. No. 1142- 00, Case No. 200 ( Vol. IX.), not now wanted. Memorandum. Frank Ruston, C. R. O. No. 816- 15, Case No. 97 ( Vol. IX.), warrant issued. Original notice should De amended accordingly. Persons Licensed from a Borstal Institution. C. R. O. PRISON COMMISSION FOR SCOTLAND. 227.— For failing to comply with the conditions of his licence which has been revoked.— Harry Burton, alias Harry Wells, C. R. O. No. 8819- 18, b. 1901, 5ft. 4£ in., c. fresh, h. brown, e. hazel, scar back 1. wrist. A porter ; native of London.
