CONFIDENTIAL Supplement B THE POLICE GAZETTE No. 15. FRIDAY, APRIL 15, 1921. Vol. VIII. Convicts on Licence, persons under Police Supervision and others whose apprehensions are sought for failing to comply with the requirements of the Prevention of Crimes Act Those bearing names marked thus • are Licence Holders, and should produce their licences. The first condition of a licence is that the holder shall preserve it and produce it when called upon by a Magistrate or Police Officer ; but it should be distinctly understood that a Licence Holder is not required to carry his licence upon him. Before preferring a charge of failing to produce a licence, it should be ascertained what the defaulter has t « say, vide Sec. 5, Sub- Sec. I, 27 < fc 28 Vict., Cap. 47, which requires a Licence Holder to produce his licence or show some reasonable excuse why he does not produce the same. N. B.— When a circulation is cancelled, the printed matter relating to the person in question might be ruled through in red ink, without defacing the portrait. Licence Holders and Supervisees. C. R. Liberated on licence, 8- 7- 1920, into the M. P. D". Officer proving identity, P. S. Gcoch, C. I. D.- G. Officcr proving service of notice, Inspr. Dowson, L. Arrest also sought on S for housebreaking and wounding, vide Case No. 2, POLICE GAZETTE, 13- 4- 1921. Inf. to above office. 113.— Ingram, George, C. R. O. No. 560- 06, b. 1876, 6ft. lin., c. fresh, h. brown, e. blue, 1. leg and foot deformed. A labourer; native of Cambridge. Sentenced at Surrey Ass., 1- 12- 1914, to 7 yrs. pen. { conc.), 3 days appellant, for burglary. Liberated on licence, 19- 3- 1920, into the M. P. D. Officer proving service of notice, P. S. Hartshorn. 22L. Failed to report change of address. Pre. con. of larceny, burglary and minor offences. Known to pohce at LEATHERHEAD and on C, E, K and L. For portrait, etc., see Case No. 125, Supple- ment A ( Vol. VII.). Inf. to above office. HULL ( CITY). 114.—* Nudd, Thomas Henry, aliases Thomas Nudd, James Nudd and Evan Hughes. C. R. O. No. 1227- 02, b. 1878, 5ft. 6£ in., c. fresh, h. dk. brown, e. blue- grey. A seaman; native of Hickhng, Norfolk. Sentenced at Ipswich Ass., 18- 1- 1917, to 5 yrs. pen. ( conc.), for cyclestealing and fraud. Liberated on licence, 19- 10- 1920, to Wroxham, Norfolk. Failed to report change of address. Pre. con. of larceny, cyclestealing and being a h. c. Known to pohce at NORTH WALSHAM, BLOFIELD, SMALLBURGH, NORWICH, BRENTWOOD, ORMSKIllK, HULL, LEICESTER ( Co.) and WOODBRIDGE. For portrait, etc., see Case No. 402 ( Vol. VII.). May be dealt with where found if there is evidence of an offence against the Prevention of Crimes Act in such place. C R Sentenced at Hereford Asa., 25- 6- 1912, to 3 yrs. 115.— For failing to comply with the conditions ( remanet of former sentence) and 10 yrs. p. d- of his licence, which has been revoked.— George Williams, aliases Harry Wallace, Henry Wallis, for burglary . and being a li. c. Liberated on p. d. liconcc, 8- 3- 1921, to Bristol. Pre. con. ot larceny, officebreaking, warehouse- breaking, cyclcstealing, housebreaking, fraud and minor offences. Known to police at HEREFORD, LAWFORDS GATE, CHELTENHAM, BRISTOL, GLOUCES- TER, ROMSEY and TAUNTON. Harry Baber, Harry Bolton and Henry Johnson, C. R. O. No. 1654- 00, b. 1880, 5ft. 7 Jin., c. fresh, h. brown, e. blue, scar bridge of nose. If arrested inf. by telegraph or telephone should he at once forwarded to above office, when an escort will be sent for him. Apprehensions Sought. 116.— Robert Brown, C. R. O. No. 5090- 17. Case No. 84 ( Vol. VI.). Not now wanted. 117.— Margaret Jane Smith, C. R. O. No. 18442- 16. Case No. 49 ( Vol. VII.). Not now wanted. Apprehensions. 118,— James Barnes, C. R. O. No. 3066- 01, Case No. 371 ( Vol. II.), is in oustody at Thames Pol. Ct. ( L.), barged as a suspected person. 119.— Gerald White, C. R. O. No. 339- 18, Case No. 110 ( Vol. VI.), is remanded at Marlborough- street Pol. Ct. ( L.) till 16- 4- 1921, charged with loitering. 120 - Michael Duffy, C. R. O. No. 1943- 05, Case No. 184 ( Vol. VII.), is i i custody at Doncaster, charged as George Dixon with larceny. 121.— William John Hughes, C. R. O. No. 2273- 9, Case No. 97 ( Vol. VIII.). charged at Swansea ( Co.) P. Sess., 9- 4- 1920, with failing to report and tile case adjourned for 1 mo. 122 — John Phineas Timms, C. R. O. No. 22454- 20, Case No. 99 ( Vol. VIII.). 123 - James Brown, C. R. O. No. 2- 18, Case No. 106 Vol. VIII.), was sentenced at West London P. Ct., 5- 4- 1921, to 14 days impt. for being drunk and disorderly. Memorandum. George Morgan, C. R. O. No. 1669- 04, Case No. 202 ( Vol. VII.). Warrant issued.
