SPECIAL NOTICE. PRISONERS UNDER REMAND. The aid of the Metropolitan Police is frequently Bought by other Police Forces to make inquiries respecting the antecedents of prisoners under re- mand, and such inquiries often result in identi- fying accused persons as being old offenders.
