All announcements for insertion in the PoLTOK GAZETTE, and at„ communications upon them should be addressed to THE EDITOB OF INS I'OLICK GAZETTE, NEW SCOTLAND YAIID, ' LONDON, S. W. . 2. Particulars concerning persons whose apprehension is sough t will be inserted in one issue of the Por. rci? G < ZETTE, if they are sufficient to enable action to be taken upon them by another fo 3 Particulars as to stolen property will be hkmoise inserted in one issue, if sufficient to en, ( he article in question to be thereby identified. 4. Portraits of persons whose apprehension is sought for serious offences, and engraving, of stolen property. Will be prominently inserted with detailed particulars, at a cost of 15* per portrait, < in-> of 7s. Gd. per photograph or sketch of a stolen article, including the expense of engraving on wood. 6. Kveru announcement, if for the apprehension of a person, must be guaranteed bp thesignature gfa'l officer of not less rank than Superintendent: and, if the name of such person be required to be inserted, and nowarrant is in force against him, the requisition must he signed bi/ the chief officer of police, or his immediate deputy, of the county, city, or bororgh, as the case may be 7. ' Announcements concerning stolen property must be guaranteed by an officer of not less rank than Inspector, or analogous thereto. 8. Announcements of all persons tobe apprehended or of stolen property oear a number, and art alphabetically arranged by counties. 9. The force which causes particulars concerning delinquents or stolen property to be inserted in the POLICE GAZETTE, must, on their apprehension or recovery, at once transmit to the Editor notice of the fact, referring to the number of the announcement for insertion in the next issue. 10. In all cases, the officer signing the request for insertion of any announcement, will be wholly responsible for any proceedings which mai/ result from such publication. 11. Announcements for the Friday issue should be forwarded so as to be received not later than noon on Wednesday, and for the Tuesday edition not later than Saturday morning. They must be clearly written on one side of the paper only, be in the usual form, and accompanied by a covering letter. 12. All payments must be in advance, either r. t the office, New Scotland Yard, by cheque, crossed " Drummond Sf Co.," Post Office Order payable at Parliament Street, Postal Order, or in Stamps. 13. Advertisements are accepted for ME Police Gazette through Mr. Jamet Willing, 125, Strand, London, the sole Agent, who will furnish the rates on application. 14.
