Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant hag been issued, and by the name of the person in whose hands it is. Description of JOSEPH ROONEY, native of near Banbridge, who stands charged with having, on the 3rd July, 1893, in the barony of Upper Belfast, parish of Shankhill, and city of Belfast, burglariously entered the public- honse of Mr. Thomas O'Neill, 91, Fall's- rpad, and stolen therefrom the sum of 4s. 8d., and for whose apprehension a Warrant has been issued :— Slightly knock- kneed, small pimples on neck and face, small sandy moustache; dark brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 25 years of age, sandy hair; wore a black round hat, dark blue coat, tweed trowsers, and dark vest; is a publican's assistant; was formerly employed at Newry and Kilkeel, county Down. Description of CHARLES O'HALLORAN, sup- posed native of county Galway, who stands charged with having, on the 29th April, 1893, in the barony of Tulla Upper, parish of Tomgraney, stolen from the dwelling- house of Catherine Murphy, Tomgraney:— A gold cross, about 2 inches long ; a gold ring, set in ruby stones ; a heart - shaped medallion, and some white handkerchiefs, marked H. Hogan ; all value for about £ 5 :— Good- looking, handsome face, speaks with an English accent; long nose, fair complexion, round fiace, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 20 years of age, rather fair hair; wore a light- coloured peak cap, gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; smart address; carries a brown walking stick. Description of GERALD FITZGERALD, alias WILLIAM ARMIT, native of county Meath, who stands charged on remand with having, on the 14th June, 1893, in the barony of Dunboyne, parish of Dunboyne, fraudulently endeavoured to obtain goods and money on a forged cheque, drawn in the name of " Cox & Co., Army Bankers, Charing- cross, London":— Gentlemanly appearance, hald on top of head; gray eyes, regular nose, florid complexion, oval face, slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 46 years of age, gray hair ; w ore a dark hard hat, dark coat, tweed trowsers, and dark vest. This man falsely represented himself as a Sergeant- Major of Royal Engineers, quartered at Chatham, and may have committed similar offences elsewhere. Dunshaughlin, 18th June, 1893. Queen's Description of JAMES BYRNE ( Mother's sur- name Lynch), native ol Stradbally, who stands charged with having, in the month of February, 1S93, at Strad- bally, in the barony of Stradbally, parish of Strad- bally Hall, feloniously stolen a coachman's livery box coat and footman's livery coat, and being bound by recognizance to stand his trial at Maryborough Quarter Sessions on 13th April, 1893, has absconded from his bails:— No teeth in front of mouth, shaves all his face; gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 40 years of age, ft. ir hair; wore a gray tweed cap, dark coat, trowsers. and vest; is a stable boy. MEEHAN, native of Portarlington, Queen's county, who stands charged with having, on the 28th May, 1893, in the tiarony of Boyle, parish of Boyle, received money by false pretences from George M'Guire and from others, between 15th May and 12th June:— Right leg short and right foot deformed; dark brown eyes, drooping aquiline nose, very bionzed complexion, I full fat ( ace, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 38 years of age, dark hair, face all shaved but mous- tache ; wore a brown tweed jacket and trowsers, and dark vest', is an itinerant photographer. This man, on the fal.- e representation that he was acting for a Mr. Shiels, photographer, of Dublin, obtained orders for photographs, and got paid for them, which he never supplied; he had not the proper equipments for taking photographs, but merely went through the appearance of taking them. He has been returned for trial in custody to Roscommon Assizes, on 12th prox. He may have been previously convicted. Any communi- cation regarding him to be sent to the District Inspector at Boyle. Description of MARY KENNY", who stands charged with having, on the 14th June, 1893, in the barony of Boyle, parish of Boyle, abandoned her infapt child under 2 years of age, whereby its life was endangered:— Gray eyes, flat cocked nose, sallow complexion, short broad face, medium make, about 5 feet high, about 26 or 27 years of age, short black hair, hanging loose behind; wore an old dress, dark colour, and an old black shawl having Paisley stripe, strong laced- up boots; is a tramp, but looks like a servant. This woman said she was from outside Castlerea, and again from Gort and Williamstown, and that her husband was John Kenny, a gambler at race3, & c. Warrant in hands of District Inspector, Boyle. Description of JAMES COFFEY, native of Knockeraville, county Westmeath, who stands charged with having, on the night of 19th or morning of 20th April, 1893, in the barony of Moyashel and Maghera- dermon, parish of Dysart, stoien 3 sheep and 3 lambs :— Greatly bow- legged, result of being broken when training horses; gray or blue eyes, regular nose rather sharp, fair complexion, thin face, medium make, about 5 feet 5 inches high, between 26 and 30 years of age, fair hair; wore a gray tight coat, tight fitting trowsers, black woollen cardigan jacket under his coat, heavy brass watch chain, will probably be found about horse training stables; is a horse trainer and groom. Description of the undernamed young offender, who, on the 28th June, 1893, absconded from the St. Kevin's Reformatory School at Glencree, county Wicklow:— JAMES DUNNE, 2,428, about 19 years of age, 5 feet high, ordinary make, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, long and straight nose, ordinary mouth, long visage ^ formerly belonged to 3, South Gloucester- street, Dublin; parents dead; blue dots on arms and hands. The School Dress, all with Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Moleskin trowsers and corduroy jacket cloth qap ( Scotch make), and strong nailed boots, No. 2,428. His sister, Mrs. Glynn, resides at 45, Mary's- lane, Dublin. This boy's full period of detention will expire on 27th July next, after which date hcyieed not be arrested. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with 10s. , 3rd July, 1893. Description of the undernamed Young Offender, who, on the 7th June, 1893, absconded from the Glencree Reformatory School, at county Wicklow:— RICHARD CORBALLY, 2,484, about 18 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches or 5 feet 6 inches high, very stout make, fresh complexion, brown hair, gray eyes, ordinary nose, ordinary mouth, oval or round visage ; formerly belonged to Firhouse, county Dublin; mother resides at Roundtown. The School Dress, all with the Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Moleskin trowsers and corduroy jacket, cloth cap ( Scotch make), and strong nailed boots, No. 2,484. It appears that the boy got a change of clothes at Firhouse, and he is now dressed in a long dark coat, dark trowsers, and old felt hat. Particulars relative to convict THOMAS LOVE, c. 20, convicted at Enniskillen, county Fermanagh, at Quarter Sessions, on 18th November, 1885, for larceny — two cases— and previous conviction, and sentenced to 10 > ears' penal servitude :- 50 years of age, single, is a stonecutter, born in Drumcoolan, Enniskillen, resided before conviction in Enniskillen where his friends reside; dark hrown hair turning gray, brown eyes, black eyebrows turning gray, large nose, small mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, slight make, 5 feet 1 If inches high ; right leg ulcerated at shin, bald on top of head. This man was released from Maryboro' Prison on licence, 23rd May, 1893. He recently left his residence, 14, Bride- street, Dublin, without notifying to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 & 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 8th June, 1893. ( 559 H. C.) Particulars relative to convict MICHAEL M'GOLDRICK, c 21, convicted at Enniskillen, county Fermanagh, at Quarter Sessions, on 19th November, 1885, for larceny and previous conviction, and sentenced to ten years' penal servitude:— 60 years of age on conviction, married, is a dealer; born at Enniskillen ; resided before conviction at Enniskillen, where his friends reside; dark brown hair, brown eyes, dark brown eyebrows, small nose, small mouth, sallow complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high; ruptured left side, wears a truss, cut- scar on bridge of nose and on upper lip. This man was released on licence from Maryboro' Prison, 19th May, 1893, and stated he was going te Sligo. He was arrested on same date at Athlone on a charge of drunkenness, and discharged on condition of at once leaving the town. He has not since reported himself, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic.,- cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 31st May, 1893. ( 557 H. C.) Particulars relative to English Convict MICHAEL DOODY, No. 294, convicted at Malta, at a Court Martial, on 10th May, 1887, for an attempt to commit sodomy, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude:— 23 years of age on conviction, is a soldier; dark brown hair, gray eyes, 5 feet 7 inches high; two scars on back of head, mark on top of nose, right side, scar on cheek and on first finger, also on knuckle of second finger and on buttock; wore all his beard, which may now be shaved off. < This man was released on licence from Portsmouth Prison, 29th October, 1892. He left his residence, 36, Nicholas- street, Dublin, without reporting to police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. Description of JOSEPH M'DONNELL, who was convicted of rape, at the Mayo Assizes, on 10th of July, 1889, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude, and is now wanted on Warrant, in consequence of tha licence granted to him on 1st April, 1893, for the unexpired term of said sentence having been revoked:— He is 26 years old, 5 feet inches high, brown ihair, blue eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose and mouth, pale complexion, oval visage, proportionate make'; cut on forehead and on right side of top of head, mole and scar on chin, large scar on right wrist, flesh- mark on left wrist; is a blacksmith, and a native of Claremorris, county Mayo. Description of CHARLES FLUDGATE, who stands charged with stealing, on S9th ult., a horse, saddle, and bridle from Portobello Barracks, Dublin, the property of the Commander- in- Chief of Her Majesty's Forces i— He is 24 years old, 5 feet 4 inches high, medium make, dark hair and complexion, shaved face except small dark moustache; when last seen was dressed in a brown jerry hat, a light colour check lounge suit, and black cloth top eoat; is an Army Reservist and a native of Dublin. Description of JOSEPH RAWLINGS, native of Billericay, Essex, late Bethnal Green, London, wanted at Brentwood, Essex, for stealing a horse, cart, and a set of harness ( recovered), at South Weald, on the 17th March, 1893 : — Bald top of head, scar left cheek, scar left side of neck, right side large scar inside leg from fracture, red mole spine; 70 years of age, very active of his age, 5 feet 6 inches high, fresh com- plexion, stout build, gray hair, generally dyed very dark, blue bushy eyebrows; wore a round hard felt hat and dark clothes. Stirlingshire. Wanted for housebreaking, in Stirling Burgh, on the 17th instant:— A MAN about 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches in height, fresh complexion, full round face, dark hair, dark moustache, otherwise shaved; stout made; dressed in a black cord coat, dark vest and trowsers, light muffler, and black felt hat. The above described broke into a villa about 10.15 p. m. on the above date, in company with another man who is in custody, by inserting a knife between the sashes of the window, removing the snib, raising the lower sash, and entering thereby Police Officers are requested to make search and inquiry at all likely places with the view to the apprehension of the above- described ( who can be identified), and if found, to wire the Chief Constable. Description of two horses, the property of John Ryan, which were stolen from the lands of Gonig, parish of Stradbally, barony of Clanwilliam, on the night of 8th or morning of 9th July, 1893 :— 1.
