RBG- TJLATIOKTS. • or'AU Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- C. y are to he transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Castle, authenticated by a Separate Communication. No Description can bo inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to il'L\\ vard the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should bo accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issued, and by the name of the person in whose' hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an oflencO of this nature unless they have the Warrant in their possession whop making the arrest. v fil'ouia irregularities arise in tho delivery of the. Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears, as without this information tho mistake cannot bo rectified. * - Prison and Police Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, of the abolition of Gaols, Stations, & c., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry" no longer necessary. Description of PATRICK SCULLION, alias JORDAN ( mother's surname Jordan), has friends near Bellaghy, county Londonderry, native of Killy- garron, who stands charged with having, on the night ol 1st December, 1892, in the barony of Lower Toome, parish of Portglenone, flred three shots from a revolver at John Agnew, with intent to shoot him, and snapped said revolver at Daniel Agnew twice, with intent to shoot him :— Square shoulders, no beard or moustache, appears never to have shaved; blue ej es, long nose, sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 22 jeara of age, brown hair; wore a brown tweed coat, trowsers, and vest 5 is a farmer's son. Description of JANE M'ENROE ( supposed fictitious), native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on tho 22cd day of February, 1893, in tho barony of Upper " Loughtee, parish of Urn ay, abandoned her infaat child ( rnder 2 years), so as to endanger it's life:— Sullen appearance; small suken eyes, slightly hooked noose, sallow complexion long full face, stout make, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high, about 21 years of age, black hair, with a monkey fringe; wore a black dress and jacket, with a flowered print jacket underneath, a black hat, with some reddish flowers, and carried an umbrella; supposed to be a farmer's servant. Description of ROBERT CREE ( mother's surname Campbell), native of Bangor, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 14th January, 1893, in the barony of Lower Castlereagh, parish of Bangor, feloniously and burglariously broken and entered the dwelling- house of Thomas Jamison, and stolen there- from the sum of £ 4 10*.:— Tattoo marks on both artrs, bracelet tattoccd on left wrist, ring on middle finger of left hand, blue eyes, regular nose, fresh com- plexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inohes high, about S8 jears of age, fair lair, shaved all fsoe except moustache which is fair; wore a black cap with peak, brown tweed coat, trowsers, and vest,' checked tar in tweed, suit somewhat worn; is a labourer, and served in the Royal Horse Artillery. Particulars relative to Convict JOSEPH KELLY, or CONNOR, < fcc., C 254, convicted at Downpatrick, county Down, at the Summer Assizes, on the 14th July, 1888,1or horse stealing and previous conviction, and sentenced to 5 yearn' penal servitude:— 49 jeira of age on conviction, single, is a fowl dealer; born in Dublin; has no fixed place of residence; his friends reside in London; brown hair, blue eyes, brown eyebrows, large nose, medium mouth, sallow com- plexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high ; two sailors and two flags on left arm, faded tattooing back of left hand ; yacht and faded tattooing on right arm, wrist, and back of hand. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on licence, 6th December, 1892, and went to Belfast on the 7th instant, he reported that he was going to reside at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, bat he has not reported himself at the latter place, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he sbonld be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 11?, seo. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. ( 526 H. C.) Description of PATRICK SHEA ( Mother's sur- name Sullivan), who stands charged with having, on the 3rd dav of January, 1893, in the baroay of Iveragh, parish of Prior, murdered John M'Carthy, of Lahorn South, by stabbing him with a knife, and seriously wounded Patrick M'Carthy his brother, of same place, by stabbing •— Believed to have old- cut mark on fore- head at root of heir, dark ejes, thick nose, fresh or sallow complexion, fnll face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 22 j ears of age, dark hair; wore a slouched bat, black sack coat, gray tweed trowsers, black vest. Description of LAURENCE ARCHER, native of Kilkenny, who stands charged with having, cn the 28th November, 1892, at Coolhill, in the barony of Ida, parish of Rower, attempted to murder his wife, by cutting her throat Shaves all the face, except small sandy side whiskers, may have the marks of a dog's teeth on one of his hands; gray eyes, short pointed rose, fair complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, about 45 years of age, fair hair; wore a gray tweed cap, dark tweed coat, tiowsers, and vest; is a farmer an 1 a woodranger. R., who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of November, 1892, in the barony of East Offally, parish of Ballysax, embezzled the sum of £ 1 8*. ft/., the property of bis employer, Patrick Moran, Ballysax, Curragh Camp:— Dirty appear- anco, large mouth, thick lips; dark eyes, regular nose, dark sallow complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark htir; wore a slouched hat, dark coat, corduroy troweers, and gray tweed vest; is a labourer. Description of THOMAS DEIGNAN ( mother's surname Prior), native of Derinahiltymore, Ballina- more, and FRANCIS DEIGNAN, native of Carragh- nabonia, Ballinamore, who stand charged with having, on the 6th February, 1893, in the baiony of Carrigallen, parish of Oughterard, seriously assaulted William Cannon, by striking him on the head with a spade, thereby endangering his life:— 1. Wants an upper front tooth, thick lips, high prominent mouth, shaves all the face, gray eyes, regular nof e, pale sallow complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 26 years of age, brown hair; wore a gray tweed cap, gray tweed sack cofet, gray troweers and vest j is a cooper. 2. Soar on right side of neck caused by the stab of a fork, bald en tie top of head, large forehead, small gray ejes, regular rose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 29 years of age, light brown hair, small fair moustache; wore a brown tweed cap, dark tweei sack coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer. Description of THOMAS DONOHUE, native of Limerick city, who stands charged with having, oi the 29th November, 1890, in the barony of Clanwil- liam, parish of St. John, married Mary Casey, his first wife being alive at the time, and still living :— Old cut mark over right eye, nose inclines to ths right and loots as if it had beoi broken, freckles on fa « o, third finger of left hand crooked inwards sinew contracted; gray or blua eyes, fair complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 36 years of 8ge, fair hair. He attends fairs and races with a roulette table, and when not so employed he hawks for sale brushea and mats. It is now believe! he is in some part of either Cork or Kerry. Description of a MAN, name and native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 26th January, 1893, in the borough of Limerick, parish of St. Michael's, st len a mare, the property of John Rainsford, of Clonkeen, Barrington's Bridge Company, Limerick:— Red complexion, long thin face, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 26 jears of age, foxy moustache; wore a cap and dark clothes; appeared like a tidy farmer's son. Description of JAMES M'PEAKE ( mother's surname M'Kenna), native of Ballymacpeake, who stands charged with having, on the 7th November, 1899, in the barrny of Loughinsholin, parish of Maghera, seriously assaulted and inflicted grievous bodily harm oa one, Henry Mulholland, thereby placing his life in danger:— Very flat feet, knockneed ; gray or blue eyes, slightly cocked nose, fair com- plexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 20 years of age, brown hair; wore a black cap, dark tweed coat and trowsers. Description of MARY MOLONEY, native of county Limerick, who stands charged with having, <^ n the 28th January, 1893, at Ballyhane, ia tho barony of Kilnamanagh Upper, parish of Toem, stolen a purse belonging to Alice Lloyd, c ' attaining one pound and ten shillings, also with obtaining goods by falsi pretences :— Prominent front teeth, slight space between them, lisps when speaking and generally laughs when spokan to; dark eyes; swarthy com- plexion : fijeliom male; 5 feet high; about 35 years of age ; black hair, curly in front; wore an old black dress, old black shawl, laced bwts, and wore a neck- lace with beads; tramp and servant girl. BRADFORD, alias WILLIAM HUTTON, is in Omagh Gaol on remand to Baliygawley Petty Sessions on 21st inst., charged with obtaining a gold watch and a b'cycle by falsa pretences:— Gray- blae eyes, regular ncss, fair com- plexion, round full face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, 25 years of age; has been a farm labourer and shop assistant. ( 20873 10001). _____ Description of JAMES COLLINS, alias BEATTY, supposed to be a native of Glasgow, who stands charged with having, on the 15th December, 1892, in the barony of Strabane Upper, parish of Badoncy Lower, unlawfully stolen £ 17, in single notes, and a small single- barrelled pistol from the house of one Daniel M'Goldrick ( small farmer), with whom he was a hired servant:— Two upper front teeth black, brown eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, soft white face, slight make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 16 years of age, very black hair ; wore a two- peaked whitish cap, dark sack coat and old dark trowsers, patched on seat with corduroy; is a farm servant.
