All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, authenticated by a Separate ConymyTtication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn ; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to tho Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies ancrauctj Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issued, and by the name of the person in wlioso hands it is. But the Constabulary should remembef that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offencaiof this nature unless they have the Warrantin their possession when making the arrest. Should irregularities arise in the Jelivory of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary J, o forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears, as without this information the mistake cannot be rectified. Prison and Police Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, of tho abolition of Gaols, Stations, & o., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry" no longer necessary. Description of WILLTAM KENNEDY, native of 1, Prospect- street, city of Belfast, who stands charged with having, on the 1st snd 2nd days of August, 1892, in the barony of Upper Belfast, parish of Shankhill, embezzled the fum of £ 2 1C « , the property of his employer John M'Ilroy, 21, Lombard street, Belfast:— One front tooth in upper jaw slightly black, blue eyes regular r os?, pale complexion, long facs, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 20 years of age, light brown hair; wore a dark serge coat, light tweed trowsers, and dsrlj sefgo vest; is a clerk. DE COBAIN, native of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the same time, and at the place aforesaid did incite divers other male persons to commit sodomy:— Walks erect, square shoulders, corpulent, contracts eyebrows when ipeaking, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 48 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a silk hat, black Chesterfield overcoat, black frock coat, dark trowsers, snd dark vest. Description of MICHAEL CLUNE, native of Tullybrack, who stands charged with having, on the 4th June, 1892, in the barony of Moyarta, parish of Kilrush, broken into the house of Bridget Walsh, at Ballykelt, for the purpose of committing a burglary:— Dark- gray eyes, ordinary nose, sallow complexion, broad face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, brown hair: wore a white soft hat, dark tweed sack coat, gray trowsers, dark tweed vest; is a labourer. Description of WILLIAM MULLEN, no fixed residence, who stands charged with having stolen, on the 11th August, 1* 92, a bay mare, value £ 11, from Chester- road, Ranelagh, county Dublin, the property of Mr. Alexander Field, of said place 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches high, medium build, dark hair cut short, no beard, whiskers, or monstache fair complexion, pearl on right eye; wore a dark tweed suit, < joat jacket make, strong laced boots. Has relatives residing in Drogheda; was last seen on 12th August, 1892, in the neighbourhood of Rath farnham, county Dublin, having the mare in his possession. Particulars relative to convict THOMAS GERAGHTY, c 269, convictad at Dublin City Sessions, county Dublin, on 2nd October, 1888, for ottering base coin, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude:— 37 years of age on conviction, read and write is a Roman Catholic, married, is a labourer, prison trade oakum picking and laundry, born in Cuffe- st., Dublin ; resided bafore conviction in Dublin, where bis friends reside; brown hair, gray eyes, brown eyebrows, small nose and moutb, fresh complexion, oval visage, medium make, 5 feet 7£ inches high; lost one front tooth lowar; cut- mark top of head; T. C. tattooed on right forearm; he\ rt on left forearm. This convict was released on licence from Mountjoy Prison on 30th June, 1892, and wrnt to reside at 174, Church- street, Dublin. He left his residence withgpt notifying the fact to the police. Description of a MAN, name unknown, fcurd dead in a barn, on the farm premises of John Thomas Mower, (• nittfrton Hill Farm, South Darley, near Mattock, on the 12th August instant:— He is supposed to be an Irishman, about 45 years ot age, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, dark complexion, dark hair, black bushy whiskers and moustache; wore a brown check cloth coat, black stripsd cloth vest, cotton cord trowse's, \ ery shabby, strong lpce- up boots, with heel pistes, soles nailed, blue wool shirt, yellow and red handker- chief round neck, light clo'h cap, with two peaks and ear- tips, and gray worsted stockings, mcch worn ; had in bis possession ?} 2d. in copper*.
