All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Ory are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary Dublin Castle, authenticated by a Separate Gorumunwation. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. ' ™ Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persona whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issueA • nd by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of this a*& nre unless phey have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. %• Should irregularities arise in the • telivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the oovers, or give the number it bears, as without this ^ formation the mistake cannot bo rectif. ed. Description oi the two undernamed young offenders, who, on the 9th June, 1892, absconded from the Malone Reformatory School at Belfast:— JOHN BALIE, 19 years of age, daik hair, dark brown eyee, dark brown eyebrows, regular nose, regular mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 3 inches high, is a farm labourer, born at Bangor, county Down, formerly belonged to Banger, county Down, parents reside at 1, Church- street, Bangor; scar on top of head, chicken chested, scar above right eyebrow. The school drees consists of:— Moleskin jacket, trowsers, and vest, Glengarry cap, blue and white stripe shirt, red and black check tie, Blucher boots, and woollen stockings. HUGH BELL, 18 years of age, brown hair, brown eyes, brown eyebrows, regular noee, large mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 2 inches high, is a farm labourer, born at Clifton- street, Belfast, formerly belonged to Clifton- street, Belfast, parents reside at 55, Mountjoy- street, Bel- fast ; chicken chested, scrofula marks on neck, large swollen glands. The school dress consists ofMoleskin jacket, trowsers, and vest, Glengarry cap, blue and white • tripe shirt, red and black check tie, Bluoher boot), and woollen stockings. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of their conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice on remand, and will reward the person who may capture them with £ 1 for each boy. Armagh, Description of ISAAC MILLER, native of Russia, who stands charged with having, within the past six months, in tbe barony of O'Neiland East, parish of Shankill, embezzled certain sums of money received by him for bis employer:— Dark eyes, broad pro- minent ncse, dark complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 2 inches high, about twenty years of age, dark hair; wore a low jerry hat, black jacket coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a pedlar, and has a certificate ; speaks English badly. Lurgan, 29th May, 1892. Belfast. Description of EDWARD S. W. DE COBAIN, native of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the same time, and at the place aforesaid did incite divers other male persons to commit sodomy:— Walks erect, square shoulders, corpulent, contracts eyebrows when speaking, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 48 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a silk hat, black Chesterfield overcoat, black frock coat, dark trowsers, and dark vest. Warrant in hands of District Inspector, Detective Department, Belfast, to whom informstion should be sent. NOTB— Arrest cannot be legally made without Warrant. Belfast, 15th April, 1891. Carlow. Clare, Description of JOHN HEHIR, native of Carrow- naclohy, barony of Bunratty Upper, parish of Inchi- cronan, who left his home on the 2lst day of June, 1892, and has not since been beard of, and it is feared he has met with fcul play:— Blue eyes, fair complexion, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 40 years of age; wore a brown tweed frock coat, trowsers, and vest, there were two pieces of corduroy on trowsers, one on each knee ; he is a harmless idiot, and cannot well be understood except by those acquainted with him; does not know his name. Description of MICHAEL CLUNE, native of Tullybrack, who stands charged with having, on the 4th June, 1892, in the barony of Moyarta, parish of Kilrush, broken into the house of Bridget Walsh, at Ballykelt, for the purpose of committing a burglary:— Dark- gray eyes, ordinary nose, sallow complexion, broad face, stout make, 6 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, brown hair: wore a white soft hat, dark tweed sack coat, gray trowsers, dark tweed vest; is a labourer. Description of JAMES BEATTY, native of Fermoy, who stands charged with bavin?, on the 27th May, 1892, in tbe barony of Ferraoy, pari h of Mallow, stolen a horse, the property of Edward Fitzgibbon :— Good- looking, smart military appearance, speaks with English accent, shaves all face except small side whiskers; gray eyes, slightly hooked nose, fresh com- plexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches higb, about 30 years of age, brown hair ; wore a black hat, dark pilot coat, light tweed trowsers, black vest, and brown leather leggings; is a groom. Description of DANIEL CONNELL ( mother's surname Touhy), native of Cloughoolia, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of May, 1892, in the barony of Fermoy, parish of Monaniny, attempted to commit a rape on Catherine Healy, a child under 13 years of age:— Walks with a swagger, has an impediment in his speech, and was in America for some time ; dark brown eyes, regular nose, ruddy complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches higb, about 28 years of age, black hair ; wore a light brown hat, black coat, brovrn tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. Down, Description of a MAN, name unknown, supposed resident of Belfast, who stands charged with having, on the 14th June, 1892, in the barony of Upper Castlereagh, parish of Knockbreda, indecently assaulted Annie Troine and Jane M'Kenna, of tender years:— Gray or blue eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, medium make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 18 years of age, fair hair, slight fair moustache; wore a blue cricket or football cap, with white braid pipings, blua coat, trowsers, and vest, white turn- down collar, wbits cuffs, red tie with white spots; respectable appearance. Particulars relative to convict PATRICK GIL- CHRIST, c 876, convicted at Naas, county Kildaro at Assizes, on 5th Marcb, 1890 for larceny, and senterced to 5 years' penal servitude, reduced to 3 years:— 28 years of age on conviction, single, is a tailor, born in Dublin, no fixed residence, his friends reside in Dublin; ligl t brown bai', gray eyes, light brown eyebrows, nredium ncse, regular month, fresh complexion, oval visage, medium make, 5 feet 1 inch high; abscess- mark on left cheek, cut- mark on first and second left fingers, cut- mark on right wrist This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on licence, 30th May, 1892. He left Delgany, county Wicklow, on 1st instant, without reporting to the police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. Description of RICHARD ENGLISH ( mother's surname Carey), native of Carrowkeale, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd of Jaly, 1886, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Lower, parish of Donohill, seriously assaulted one James Gleeson, by striking him with a stone, from the effects of which he died after- wards :— Cut- mark on back of head, high cheek bones, brown moustache and side whiskers as far down as ears, long neck, gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, tbin face, active make, 5 feet 10 inches bigh, about 25 or 26 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft felt bat, gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a labourer. Description of JEREMIAH FINEGAN, alias WALTER FERGUSON, native of Stradone, county Cavan, who has been returned for trial on the charge of having, on the night of 29th or morning of 30th April, 1892, in the barony of West Omagh, parish of Skirts of Urney, broken into tha Manse in connection with the 2nd Castlederg Presbyterian Church, and stolen therefrom 26 keys and a piece of marble;— Has a good address and appears to have got a good education; blue eyes, straight nose, fair complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 50 years of age, sandy hair turning gray; wore a brown tweed cap, old drab coat, dark tweed trowsers, and black vest; is a tramp. Description of ANDREW BOTTS ( mother's surname Kavanagh), native of Enniskerry, who stands charged with having, on tbe 21st May, 1892, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Powerscourt, com- mitted a burglary in R dwelling- house belonging to Mr. Francis Buckley, Hotelkeeper, Enniskerry ; Botts was bailed to take his trial at Wicklow Quarter Sessions on 16th June, 1692, but failed to surrender to his recognizance Small dark gray eyes, regular nose, sallow c > mplexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches higb, about 35 or 40 years of age, dark hair; wears all bis beard which is dark, shaves upper lip; wore a dark frock coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; may bs found wearing moleskin trowsers, dark coat and vest, and shoes without nails ; is a labourer ; is suspected of being either in Dublin or Liverpool. Description of JAMES WELLS, suppose! a native of England, who stands charged with haviag, on divers occasions dnring the month of May, 1892, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Bray, county Dublin, unlawfully by fraud and false pretences obtained money and goods amounting to £ 3 14s. 6d. from Isaac Epstein, with intent to defraud:— slight limp when walking, speaks with an English accent, smart appear- ance ; gray or blue eyes, regular nose, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches higb, about 30 years of age, light- coloured hair; wore a brown felt hat, blue cloth jacket, moleskin trowsers, blue striped vest, white muffler, or tie, and new laced boots; is a navvy, generally at public works. Description of JOHN WILSON ( mother's surname not known, but resides at No. 8, South King- street, Dublin) native of Glasgow, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 15th May, 1892, in the barony of Newcastle, parish of Kilcoole, being con- cealed in Bromley Demesne, under circumstances denoting that he was there for the purpose of committing a felony, and unable to givo a good account of himself, lodging in the open air, and without any visible means of subsistence, and escaping from cust^ MM police:— Blue or gray eyes, pale complexion, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about S^^^^ Bf age; wore an old dark hard hat, long dar^^^, light trowsers. He is a Roman Catholic; a labourer, and said to belong to Glasgow. Both work on railways, put up in common lodging houses, snd keep company with loose women. M. on Fri- day, the 10th June, 1892:— A brown leather pocket book, containing five £ 20 bank notes, one £ 5 bank note, about one hundred £ 1 bank notes, a cheque for £ 226 It. 6d. supposed to be on i he Bank of Scrtland, from Stewart, Rule, and Burns, payable to Robert Kerr; a cheque for £ 133 1 Is. on Caledonian Bank, Nairn or Inverness branch, from N. M. Garden, payable to Robert Kerr; a cheque for £ 30 on an Inverness Bank, payable to Mrs. A. Shaw, and en- dorsed by her; a cheque for £ 5 10s. on the Royal Bank, Inverness, from Robert Finlay, payable to Robert Kerr; a cheque for £ 2 on an Inverness Bank, from James Cowan, payable to Robert Kerr; and a cheque, supposed for £ 11, bank not known, payable to Robert Kerr. The numbers of the bank notes are not known, but supposed to be of north country banks The Police are respectfully requested to make inquiry at bankers, money- changers, and other likely places and should any trace of the atslen property be obtained, to communicate with the subscriber.
