ARE ¥ 011 31 THE RIGHT TRAIN ? WHI€ M CLASS ARE YOU TRAVELLING ? " All true believers are certain to be saved— there is no question as to their security ; they are all in the train, and they are all certain to reach the Terminus of Heaven ; but some travel Third Class, some Second Class, and some First Class."— SPUKGEON. I thought that was very true. Who are the Third Class passengers t They are those who might thus speak : " What time I am afraid, I will doubt"— splendid faith when it is not wanted— marvellously strong when there is no tension brought to bear upon it, but when a little cloud, no bigger than a man's hand, appears in the sky— then what time they are afraid they begin to doubt. They are in the train, but they have many jolts, and are not at all comfort- able. Who are the Second Class passengers? They may be compared to David, when he wrote, " What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee ;" far better than the other. It is not the highest experience, yet still there is a soft pad at his back—" I will trust." But what I covet is the privilege of being a First Class passenger ; ' like Isaiah when he wrote, " Behold, God is my, Salvation; I will trust and NOT be afraid." It is a good thing to be able to say, " What time I am afraid, I will trust," but it is a grand thing to be able to say, " I will trust and not be afraid."— A. BROWN.
