HAVE YOU READ THE BIBLE IN THE ORIGINAL ? This does not mean in Hebrew or Greek. God speaks neither Hebrew nor Greek. This is the original lan- guage of Scripture, the Love of God to the Soul. " I have loved thee with an everlasting love : therefore with loving- kindness have I drawn thee.'" Have you so read it ? Have you seen in it what God is, and where you are ? Have you realised that while kings have lived and died, countries have grown up and fallen down, this Word of our God " liveth and abideth for ever V Is it not time to make up your mind whether you believe it 1 Have you noticed how the Man Christ Jesus lived on this Word 1 He began to teach in Nazareth from the Word. He taught His Disciples from the Word. He taught about Noah, and Lot, and Jonah, and David from the Word. He resisted temptation by the Word. He gave up His life, repeatieg from the Word, " Into Thy Hands I commend My spirit." After He rose He expounded unto His Disciples in ALL the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. And He is our example. CALEDONIAN HOTEL, ADELPHI TERRACE, STRAND, LONDON, W. C. Proprietor H. ECCLES ( Late Superintendent X Division Metropolitan Police).
