WANTED for failure to report, and at Chertsey on warrant for poaching, license holder W. 913, WIIIIAM EVANS alias WIIIIAM TURNER, age 41, height 541. 6- in., fair complexion, long face, eyes hazel, hair dark brown; wrinkled forehead; lost top of little linger right hand; scar on right arm, hack of neck, between finger and thumb of left hand, ami corner left eye; late of Egham, Surrey; was convicted at Central Criminal Court, 19th September, 1870 ( after previous convictions for burglary), and sentenced to 14 years' penal servitude and 7 years' police supervision, for feloniously wounding police to resist apprehension; the woodcuts represent him one with beard and moustache grown, the other as lie may possibly appear, clean shaved. The above Reward will be paid by the Director of Criminal Investigations, Great Scotland Yard, to any person giving information which will lead to the apprehension of the said license holder.
