INFORMATIONS. MURDER AHD MALIC WOUNDING. A man, unknown, was killed at Rawcliffe on 30thultimo, and the coroner's iury returned a verdict of ' Wilful Murder' against RICHARD BARNETT and FRED BARNET, in custody, who stand committed to take their trial on the coroner's warrant: the deceased was 22 years of- age, 5 feet 6 inches high, dark complexion, dark brown hair, no whiskers or moustache ; dressed in old black cloth coat, fustian vest with whito bone buttons, old cotton cord trousers, blue cotton neckerchief with white spots, old brown- cap, and blucher boots with brass eyelet holes. He is a tramping labourer, and goes by the name of Jack, Supposed to be a native of Buckinghamshire, in which county it has been stated his father works in a stone quarry. By a tramp who may be wearing the Boots, as he left his old ones behind ; about 19 years of age, 5 feet G or 7 iuches high, thin features, slender build ; dressed in a dark mixture coat, dark trousers, and black cheesecutter cap. Stolen about 9 p. m. on 23rd ultimo, from the shop win dow of Peter Horden, pawnbroker, Kettering, by breaking a pane of glass : about- 20 wedding Rings, plain ; 6 or 7 signet Rings, one broken ; a lady's box Ring, set with pearls, hair in centre, aud glass cracked ; a hair Keeper, hair and gold twisted in ; and 3 or 4 other Keepers. Supposed by a man 30 to 40 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inehes high, dark com- plexion, with some whiskers, and appeared to carry his head a little on one side, supposed left ; dressed in dark grey suit, and was carrying a light overcoat or mackintosh over left which he occasionally put on. Stolen from the person at Preston, on the night, of 31st ultimo, an English made silver lever Watch ; has the word ' London,' and the number ' 12' on the works ; had a jet Chain with round and flat links attached. Stolen from the person at Belle Yue, on 23rd ultimo, about 9 p. m. : a gold Swiss lever Watch, outside case engraved plain pattern, with shield in centre, on the inside case are the words ' Patent Lever,' 15 jewels, ' No. 11409' inside, steel bauds, seconds finger, and gold dial. Stolen from a dwelling- house at Ashton- under- Lyne, during the night of 25th, or morning of 26th instant : a pair of lady's elastic- side kid Boots, patent toe caps, and low heels, been worn twice ; a pair of lady's elastic- side Boots, patent toe caps, high heels, with iron tips, part worn; and an old rough dirty Towel. Stolen from a field at Thame, Oxon, on 29tli ultimo : a a bay Mare, aged, white hind legs, blaze in face, and lame in fore feet. Stolen from a fie'd adjoining Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich, during the night of 24th instant : 3 black faced wether Sheep, and 3 black faced Lambs, each raddle marked on near shoulder and off hip ; the property of Mr. Thomas Lloyd, West Bromwich. £ Z 3s. reward will be paid for such information as will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the offender. The horse stolen from Godalming, advertised in the Police Gazette of 8th and 25th instant, has been recovered at Epping, Essex, and a man is wanted for stealing the same : about 45 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, light com- plexion, without whiskers ; dressed in dark clothes, and soft billycock ha, t. Information to Deputy Chief Constable Barker, Guildford, Surrey.— Bow- st., August 29. Stolen on 21st instant, from a meadow at Dulwich : a valuable light chesnut Horse, 15 hands 1 inch high, chestnut mane and tail, face and hind legs white, stout build, recently blistered, passed toll at St. Albans on 22nd instant, towards Dunstable, in large spring cart, ' William Johnson, Dealer, Dunstable,' on side, driven by three men; lst, 40 y ears of age, 6 feet high, stout build, the others, 30 years of age, short, all wore billycock hats, had the appearance of low horse copers. — Metropolitan Police, P Division, August 27. Stolen from an orchard at East Mailing, on lst instant, a Kent ewe Sheep, ' RM.' in pitch on near Shoulder, her lambs were taken from her the day previous ; the propeity of Mr. Robert Mercer. Also stolen, on 19th instant, at Ryarsh, a large fawn colcur I mastiff Dog, two years old, answers to ' Nelson'; the property of Jeremiah Fremlin. A warrant has be?: i issued" fpr ARTHUR FRITH, who was seen at Boro- green, Wrotham, going tc wards London the same day with the dog in his possession ; he is 21 years of age, about 5 feet 9 inches high, ' daik complexion and hair, Blight moustache and whiskers, genteel appearance, and well educated ; dressed in a straw hat, with black band, black coat, bound with braid, and. light mixture cloth trousers and vest of the same material. He resided until lately at 5, Cambridge- villas, Turnham- green, Gunnersbury, and kept a preparatory school for young gentlemen. M. Prison, at Kirkdale, for six months— Bow- street, September 3. Charged with stealing £ 120 from a beerhouse bedroom, i t Haslingden, on 3Cth ultimo : a man, 21 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, fresh complexion, light brown hair, blue eyes, / iaie a little freckled, and has a cross en back of left hand; drea ed in a light coloured tweed coat, far worn, black cloth t; ouse s, far worn, and cap with peak, belongs to the Burnley Miluia, and is a pawer loom weaver by trade. He was traced to Burnley, ana left by tiain for Blackburn on 31st ultimo, and had then plenty of money on him, and was in company " with a man unknown ; traced to Belle Vue, Manchester, on lst instant. Information to Mr. Superintendent Henderson, Police Office, Bacup, Lancashire.— Bow- street, September 3 Description of JAMES TUCKER, charged on a warrant with stealing on 25th ultimo, from his lodgings, at Miners Arms, Risca, Monmouthshire, the property of Chas. Webster: £ 30 iii Money, and various articles of Bed Clothing; he is • about 23 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, proportionate hike, tark complexion, nearly black hair and moustache, \ vjhich might be shaved off, whiskers shaved, has a scar on oi e side from an abscess; dressed in dark clothes, bowler hat, Oxfoid boats, and whits stockings ; is a collier, and lias his pit clothes and other clothing in his possession ; is a native of Bedminster, Bristol, where hia mother now resides, his father resides at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, has one sister at Newport, Mon., and two at Plymouth ; he may follow his trade as a collier iu some of the mineral districts, or sell fried fish, roast potatoes, or ice cream in those districts, or large towns, or emigrate to America. He eloped with Sarah Aim Webster, wife of Charles Webster, she is 49 years of age, 5 feet 1 to 3 inches high, stout make, light complexion, light brown hair, sun freckled on face and arms, cast in one eye ; dressed in dark clothes, Paisley shawl, white jacket, and silk dress in her possession. They were accompanied by Clara Webster, 4 years of age, light hair, little curly, and speaks through her nose ; bought a new clothes box at Newport, Mon. £ 1 reward will be paid on apprehei s'on, and a fuither reward will be paid in proportion to the money found OD them. Charged with stealing a quantity of Shoes, of various s'zes, at Buckingham : a man about 35 [ years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, pale complexion, brovn hair and moustache ; dressed in dirty cloth trousers, and generally • wears a short holland jacket. He has been in the Army, aad is branded with the letters ' B. C.' on the right side, is quick in his movements, and very talkative, especially when under the influence of drink, worked whilst in Buckingham as a bricklayer, but has been employed in Gas Works. He is accompanied by a Woman, who is very short, plain features ; shabbilv dressed, and has a child about 2 years old. Ioformatien to Head Constable Denson, Borough Police Office, Buckingham,— Boust- street, September 3. Stolen from a field at Kerry, on 23rd ultimo : a brown twill slop Jacket, nearly new ; a grey cloth Coat, half worn, cuffs bound with black braid, two pockets on hips and one inside left bi east, pearl buttons same colour as coat. Sppposed by a tramp, about 45 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout build, full dark sandy whiskers ; dressed in dark clothes, and Vears strings tied round his legs below kuees. He attends fairs and auctions as a drover. He is the same man as described in the Police Gazette of 25th June last, suspected of house- breaking at Worthin, Salop. Stolen from a dwelling- house at Ryde, on 25tli ultimo : a dark tweed Coat, Vest, and Trousers, metal Guard and • Locket, also 4s. 6d. iu Silver. By a man named FREDERICK PIERCEY, a mariner, 22 years of age, 5 feet 1 or 2 inches high, dark complexion and hair ( cut short), star inside left • wrist, large wart under right thumb ; he has been previously convicted of felony. Information to Mr. Superintendent Burt, Police Office, Ryde, Isle of Wight, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street-. September 1. Stolen from Lockerbie, on 28th ultimo : a double cased silver lever Watch, No. 47576, capped and jewelled in six holes, white chaptered dial, gold spade hands, sunk seconds, and not much worn, and attached a silver guard Chain ; a double- cased silver verge Watch, No. 4375, yeliow hancU, cream- coloured chaptered dial, attached a yellow metal Albeit Chain, of snake pattern. Supposed by a man from 20 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high or thereabouts, brown hair, no whiskers, round face, and stout make ; dressed in dark or brown tweed reefer jacket, dark or brown tweed trousers, green and black checked cravat, black felt hat, and fine boots or Shoes. Absconded on 22ud ultimo, charged with stealing a lady's gold Necklace, single row of pearls, one large ( mounted in gold to form a snap) ; 2 small pearl necklaces, two rows each ; I five row Ditto ; a parcel of loose Rubies, 27i carats, chop shape ; 4 catseye stones, coloured ; a gold enamelled Brooch, set with onyx: MEYER BEENBAUM, an Austrian, traveller, 38 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, dark complexion, hair and mousi, aclie black, whiskers ( long) black ; dress, long bla-. k overcoat, with velvet collar, and hip pockets, light t ousers, high black hat, side- spring boots. Warrant issued. — Metropolitan JPolice, G Division, September 1. Description of a man giving the name of GEORGE WILLIAMS, charged with stealing from a public- house in Nottingham, a lady's gold Geneva Watch, maker Baskerfield. Leek, Staffordshire ; a silver hunting Watch, gold Albert Guaid attached, belcher pattern, gold Locket attached, which is half broken off: he is about 30 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, djuk browp hair, sallow complexion, 110 whiskers, slight moustache ; dressed in a suit of dark grey, jacket coatv He said he was a detective from Great Scotland'yard, and that he was making an enquiry about a robbery on the Great Northern Railway, he left a card with the address of Lower Park, Lougliton, Essex. Information to Chief Constable Poyntz, Nottingham.— Bow- street, September 1. Stolen from a middle class lodging house in Bolton about 5' 30 a. m. on 30th ultimo : a gold Russian lever hunting Watch, No. 57,995, has the name ' Ancre, & c.' on back of inner case, and ' A. N. L.' engraved on outside case, glass crackcd and hour finger broken, and stamped 14 carat; had attached a 14 carat gold albert Chain, to which was appended a Seal with bloodstone on one side, and red on the cther> stamped 10 carat; also about £ 6 4s. in Gold and Silver; one five- franc Piece; and one German five Pfennig Piece. By a man who speaks with ft foreign accent, and said he was born in Jersey in October, 1843, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches liigb, very fresh complexion, dark eyes, black hair brushed very smooth, full round face, black whiskers, shaved on chin and throat, black moustache, hangs liis head down when walking; dressed in dark sleeved waistcoat, dark brown cord trousers, such as those worn by railway porters, light blue necktie with blue stripes thereon, white cuffs, and rather tall hard black billycock hat.
