INFORMATIONS. MUEBEE AND MALXCX0USLT WOU1DING. Further information respecting GEORGE MORSE, charged with shooting at William Stinchcomb, and advertised in Police Gazette of 2' th instant. He was dressed in a darts velveteen jacket, black billycock hat, shining leather leggings, and light shoes. .£ 10 reward will be paid to any one who will give such information as will lead to his apprehension on application to Superintendent Chipp, Coleford, Gloucester- shire.— Bow- street, November 24. Absconded from HardingtW, charged with the murder of Police Constable Cox, on the night of the 16th instant, at Netherton, Somerset: GEORGE HUTCH INGS, about 55 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, dark hair, turning grey, sallow com- plexion, and thin face. GILES HUTCHINGS, about 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, black hair, whiskers, aud moustache, sallow complexion, thin face, and downcast look. And PETER HUTCHING3, about 26 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, rather stout, dark brown hair, sallow com- plexion, and marked with small pox. Stolen from the person in Port- street, Annan, on the night of the 11th instant, a hard dial silver lever Watch, No. 45674, with gold albert Chain and swivel Key attached, nearly new. On the night of the 11th instant, some evil disposed person or persons wilfully set fire to a hay rick, at All Stret- ton, the property of Mrs. Bakewell. £ 50 reward will be paid to any person giving such information as shall lead to the apprehension aud conviction of the offender or offenders. Stolen from the person of a gentleman in Macclesfield, about 8 p. m. on the 18ch instant: a gold verge Watch, with gold dial, No. 70243. Absconded from the parish of Elton, on the 5th instant, charged with stealing from the person a silver Geneva Watch, No. 32182, and Albert Chain : WILLIAM SKINNER, a labourer, about 20 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, blue eyes, and fresh complexion; dressed in an old pilot cloth jacket, fustian vest, cord trousers, and dark cloth cap with peak of the same material; he has worked in coal and iron pits. During the afternoon of 21st instant, the dwelling- house of Elizabeth Upton, Coleshill, was broken into and stolen therefrom : one dark grey cloth Coat, with pockets on the hips, bone buttons, man's size ; one pair of davk grey cloth Trousers, flaps and bone buttons; one dark blue cloth Jacket, bound with braid, and has been mended on the right side ; one pair of dark grey cloth Trousers, with black bone buttons, youth's size, all much worn ; an old fashioned german silver Watch, plain back and bull's- eye glass. Supposed by tramps. Information to be given to Superintendent Simmons, Coleshill, Warwickshire.— Bow- street, November 24. Stolen by means of house- breaking at Leybourne Grange, near Maidstone, between 8 and 9 p. m. on the 20th instant, the property of Lady Mostyn, entrance haviDg been effected by placing a ladder against an upper window of the mansion : 1 diamond Locket, with ruby centre, heart shape, with crystal back, about 1 inch in depth, and J of an inch in width. 1 pearl Necklace for same, 107 pearls, small pearls. 1 pair of Ear- rings, star shape, ruby centre, small, to match locket. 1 Brooch, with pendant of diamonds ( this completes the set). Stones very good, rubies in locket and ear- rings of a deep tich colour, star of rose diamonds about the size of a half- crown. 1 gold Bracelet, with three large carbuncles and diamond centre 1 gold and black enamel Bracelet, opening with the portrait of a gentleman. 1 gold Bracelet, with purple enamel, the gold is perforated showing hair underneath,' In Memory of ' in purple enamel letters, hair under glass at back. 1 Locket, inch in length, by j of an inch of amethysts and pearls alternately, in a circle round the edge, a coronet at the top through which the chain passes, the letter ' A.' of amethysts in the centre inside, portrait of a gentleman and lady with inscription round, coronet set with small pearls. 1 pair of circular gold and purple enamel Ear- rings. 1 diamond Ring of three large stones, centre stone round, the two side ones loag shaped. About £ 7 in Money. £ 100 reward will be given to any person who shall give such intormation as will lead to tbe conviction of the offender or offenders, and £ 10 per cent of the value will be paid for Property recovered. Found at Norton on the 13th instant, supposed to have been stolen : a light bay Mare, aged, and 16 or 17 hands high ; and a dark brown horse Pony, aged, 11 hands high, and blind in one eye. Information to be given to Superin- tendent Hill, Brownhills, Walsall, Staffornshire.— Bow- street, November 22. Found near Weyhill, on the 11th ultimo, and supposed to have been stolen, 20 Lambs. Information to be given to Superintendent Bennett, Hants Constabulary, Andover. — Bow- street, November 20. Stolen between 7 and 8 p. m, on the 14th instant, from Burchett Green, Berks, a brown cob Horse, aged, 14 hands 2 inches high, white streak down the face, broken knees, one worse than the other; a chocolate- coloured Ca ' eked out with white, the tail board has been cut thrc_ 0_ 3 middle, and works on two hinges, and an old harness. Supposed by two men : one about 25 years of age, medium height, brown, hair, strong build, clean shaved ; dressed in cord trousers, brown cloth sirigle- breasted coat, buttoned with one buttoa on the top, low crowned hat. The other, 25 years of age, medium height, brown hair, small whiskers, strong build ; dressed in dark cloth trousers, dark cloth single- breasted coat, buttoned at top ; both had the appearance of horse dealers. Stolen from a field at the Woodlands Farm, in the parish of Dawley, between the 5th and 7th instant: four Ewe Sheep, about 3 ye » rs old, half- bred Shropshire down breed, marked on the right side ' OH-'; the property of Mr. W. Stolen from Eastwood, on the night of the 7th instant- a dappled brown cart Horse, 5 years old, about 1C£ hands high, black legs, white star on forehead, has a rough place on both hocks, a small scar under the mace, about 3 oi 4 inches from the ear, and in good condition. £ 5 reward will be given for tbe recovery of the horse, and conviction of the offender or offenders. Supposed stolen fi om a field at Wibsey, Yorkshire, on the night of 20th instant : a dark grey mare Pony, 3 years old, 13 hands high, and two white saddle marks on each side of the back. Information to be given to Superintendent Ball, West Rising Constabulary, 1 Bradford.— Bow- st., Nov. 24. Stolen from a field at Keresley, near Coventry, on the morning of the 20th instant : a blue roin Colt. 2 years old, 14^ hands high, and black feet; and a black Pony, 3 years old, 12 hands high, bang tail, and grey mixed hair on hips. Also stolen, from a field at Pickford Brook, near Allesley : a dark brown half- bred Filly, rising 4 years old, 15 bands 3 inches high, fblar. k points, long mane and tail, aud in good condition ; and a very dark brown Filly, well bred, rising 3 years old, 15 hands 1 inch high, long mane and tail, white spot inside hind fetlocks, and in good condition. Found on the 14th instant at Sawbridgeworth, and sup- posed to have been stolen : a dark brown cart mare, iu good condition, 5 or 6 years old, 15 hands high, long mane and tail, white stripe down the face, and hind legs are white about half way up. Stolen on the night of the 10th instant, from a fteld at Slawston, the property of G. J. Grimsdick, Esq., of Othorpe Lodge : two fat ewe Sheep, of the Lincolnshire bleed, it is marked with a red paiut dot oa off hip, and branded with pitch ' on near side in. shape of a triangle. Description of THOMAS WARD, alias OLD TOM, Irishman, and a tramping navvy, charged on a warrant with larceny : about 50 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, fresh complexion, large red sore ej es, large nose, hair turning grey; dressed in old cloth cap, without peak, an old cloth monkey jacket, old dirty fustian trousers, strong navvy boots, much worn. He had a fresh cut between the two forefingers of left hand, and likely to have some bandage on the same, also a fresh cut on one of his wrists. Information to be given to Superintendent Hughes, Towyn, or to Sergeant Jones, Fourcrosses, Festiniog, Merionethshire.— Brno- street, November 24. Absconded on lst instant, from 2, Westbourne- place, ; Pimlico, c- mbezzling £ 43 : a man, 31 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, fair complexion, hair and moustache ( slight) fair; diess, daik clotlies; of respectable appearance, a clerk, is well known in the fish trade and at Billingsgate Market. — Metropolitan Police, B Division, November 24. Absconded from Mold, early on the morning of the 22 ad instant, charged on a warrant with stealing from a lodging house, a pair of dark tweed trousers with fly fronts, a pair of brown tweed trousers, with brown and yellow stripe ; a double breasted Vest of the same material, a pair of men's elastic side Boots, nearly new : a pair of Socks, and a man's woollen Shirt, the property of James Coffield : WILLIAM KENNEDY, alias WILLIAM RILLEY, 27 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, rather stout build, fair complexion, full face, grey eyes, short light brown hair, has lost all the hair on a spot on the back of the head, small light moustache, no whisaers ; dressed in an old dark tweed trousers, and old brown coat and cap, and clogs, is a colliers labourer. MARY KENNEDY, about 26 years of age, medium height, rather stout build, large features, black hair ; dressed in a light skiit and clogs. They are Irish, but speaks with Lancashire accent, and have lived some years at Burnley, Lancashire. He is supposed to be known at Brosley, Yorkshire, and to have recently been discharged from some gaol, where he has served 12 months. Bowerbank and sons,' distillers, Sun- street, Bisbopsgate Without : JAMES S FIELDING, late of 178, New North- road, 20 years of age' about 5 feet 5 inches high, sallow complexion, dark hair ( cut abort) and eyes, and has a slovenly gait: generally dressed in dark clothes, and brown billycock hat; a clerk. Stolea from Cronkhill, on the 17th instant : a - woman's dark blue pilot double- breasted Jacket; a - white cotton Bonnet; a grey cloth Petticoat, trimmed with violet wool; a brown catton Umbrella; a pair o£ Stays ; a pair of women's elastic- side Boots ; a pair of drab and brown cotton Stockings ; a small white twig Basket; and ill in Gold. By a girl, 14 years of age, dark complexion, and rather pale ; dressed in blue stuff dress, diamond pattern, with white glass buttons. Information to be given to Superintendent Howells, County Constabulary Office, Shrewsbury, or to Police Constable ( 62) Cain, Atcham, Salop.— Bow- street, November 22. Stolen from a lodging- house at Shifnal, on the 20th inst,, the property of Patrick Patten: a pair of dark plaid Trousers, man's size, fall fiont, black metal buttons, very much worn on the knees, and a dark mixture double- breasted Waistcoat, lined with white calico, black back, and dark bone buttons. By a tramp who lodged there on the previous night: about 40 years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches high, rather stout build, sandy hair and whiskeis ; dressed in dai- k clothes, black billycock hat, and has a piece cut out of the front of the right boot. Information to be given to Chief Superintendent Tvins, or to Sergeant Meredith, Shifnal, Welllington, Salop.— Bow- street, November 22. Description of a man charged with stealing a quantity of Books, from a coffee- house in Cambridge, on the 15th inst., he is also charged with stealing a Box, containing Jewellery and females Wearing Apparel, to the value of ,£ 50, from the platform of the Great Northern Railway, at Cambridge, on the 23rd September last : he is about 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, pale complexion, dark hair ( which he wears combed back and cut square behind), whiskers, and mous- tache, chin shaved, he is bald on top of head, and has a good set of teeth; dressed in grey mixture cloth bat, black honey- comb cloth coat, black vest aud trousers, dark spotted scarf, with gold pin, set with a red stone, in the shape of a dog's head, and carried a black- thorn knotted stick ; he said he came from London, and had some friends in tbe furniture trade. He pledged at Cambridge, on the 13th instant, a lady's new dark brown damask cloth Dress, consisting of a long Skirt, trimmed with a flounce and two puffings, a Princess Polonaise, trimmed with plain gold round and mohair fringe, with tassels and balls, and a brown velveteen fiddle pattern back, with collar and cuffs to match, trimmed with brown corded silk ribbon bows down the front and. on the sleeves, also one on a pleated pocket on the left side, He came to Cambridge on the 13th instant, supposed from Peterborough, and left on the 15th instant, earring a parcel, containing part of the stolen Books, viz., two vols, of Barnes' Testament; two vols, of Encyclopedia; a do. History of England; a do. of Casnett ; and several parts of differenf Works, all published by Blackie and Son. Information to be given to Head Constable Turrall, Borough Police Office, Cambridge.— Bow street, November 22. Charged on warrant with embezzling the sum of .£ 480 : ARTHUR CHABOT, clerk, late of 15, Portland- place North, Clapham- road ; 30 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, light- coloured moustache, which he is fond of pulling, and has a bustling manner. Has friends residing in the Camber- well- road, where he is still known, and his wife resides at No. 188, Camberwell- new- road. Information to be given to Inspector Bailey, City of London Police, Detective Depart- ment, 26, Old Jewry, E. C.— Bow- street, November 20. Stolen on the 11th instant, from a dwelling- house in Derby, .£ 44 in Gold and Silver. By WILLIAM J. THOMPSON, 40 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, pale face, black whiskers and moustache, cut short, and has a ring tattooed on two of his fingers. He is a house painter, and a member of the Altrineham and Bowden Operative House Painters' Association, where he has worked for several summers. It is supposed that he goes short voyages on the sea during the winter, and is a native of the Surrey side of London. He was accompanied by a woman, a native of Roscommon, Ireland, 30 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, light wavy hair, and a scar over the left eye ; dressed in light clothes, and a hat with feather. She has a relative living in Chapel- street, Manchester. Information to be given to Chief Constable Delacombe, Borough Police Office, Derby, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Baw- Itreet, November 20. Stolen on the 15th instant, from the house of Elijah Mountford, of Fenton : a blue pilot Jacket, about half worn, lined with Italian cloth, two pockets inside, two] outside on hips, and one inside left breast: a black Billycock Hat ; and a yellow bundle Handkerchief. By a man who had been lodging in the house a few nights, and working as a brick- layer's labourer, 19 or 20 veais of age, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, st outly built, light complexion, aud no whiskers; dressed in moleskin trousers, black billycock hat, and strong laced boots. He stated he came from Bloxwich, and again that he came from Walsall. Information to be given to Inspector Whitehurst, Police Station, Fentoii, Staffordshire. — Bow- st., November 20. Stolen from a hut occupied by Thomas Pembroke, on the Great Northern Railway Works, at Etwall, on the 15th inst., .£ 17 in Gold, 3 lion Shillings, and 7 or 8 Threepenny pieces : by a man who has absconded, about 38 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, dark complexion, beard shaved off, no whiskers, he is a navvy : d- iessed in a drab slop, moleskin trousers, lace- up boots," blue neckerchief with white spjts, and a flat cap with peak, a button on the top. Stated that he came from Lancashire. Information to be given to the Deputy Chief Constable, Constabulary Office, Litchurch, Derbyshire.— Bow- street, November 20. Absconded on the 14th instant, from 59, High- street, St. John's- wood, embezzling £ 9 : a man, 37 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, fair complexion, and red moustache ; dressed in a light " grey suit, and soft felt hat. He is a German baker.— Metropolitan Police, S Division, November 20. Stolen from the dwelling- house of Thomas Shuker, of Berrington, Salop, on the 7th instant : a woman's black pilot double- breasted Jacket, a white cotton Bonnet, a grey cloth Petticoat ( trimmed with violet wool), a cotton umbrella, a white twig Basket, a pair of Stays, a pair of woman's side- spring Boots, and 1 Sovereign. By a girl, about 15 years of age, fair complexion, and slender build; supposed to be wearing a portion of the stolen clothes. Information to be given to Sergeant Davies, Meole, Brace, Salop.— Bow- street, November 20. Absconded on 13th, stealing from 15, Goodge- street, St. Pancras, a gold Geneva Watch, ' K' oa inside case ; two alpaca Dress : a girl, 18 years of age, 5 feet high, la'r com- plexion, brown hair ; dress, dark stuff, black jacket, and straw hat.— Metropolitan Police, E Division, November 17. Dascription of ROBERT GRACE, charged with embez- zlement, 5 feet 3 inches high, dark brown hair, cut short, grey eyes, fresh complexion, no whiskers or moustache, stoutly built, and a little bow- legged ; dressed in a dark bottle- green shooting coat, dark striped vest, black and white broken plaid trousers, black billycock hat, and low shoes; wears a black cloth suit and a high hat on Sundays. Ha3 been pre- viously convicted, and been 5 years in a Reformatory School. He will probably seek employment as a carter, and is well known to a person in Beaumaris- street, Derby- road, Kirkdale, and also to a person in Bridge- street, Derby- road, Bootle, near Liverpool. Information to be given to Chief Constable Williams, Police Office, Wigan, Lancashire, who holds a war- rant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, November 17. Description of JOHN MARSDEN CALDWELL, charged with embezzlement: 5 feet 7 inches high, fresh com- plexion, light sandy hair, whiskers and moustache ; and of shabby genteel appearance. Has been convicted at Notting- ham of embezzlement* and will probably seek employment as a clerk or traveller. Information to be given to Chief Con- stable Williams, Police Office, Wigan, Lancashire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- sireet, November 17. Stolen from a dwelling- house at Keighlsy, between 6 and 7 a. m. on the 14th instant: a blue pilot cloth Overcoat, black velvet collar, lined with blue and black check woollen lining, strap inside collar with name thereon ' Pearson Atkinson, Keighley' ; a suit of Clothes, small mixed plaid, black, red, and grey, viz, a single- breasted shooting Coat, two pockets outside laps, one outside left breast, a single- breasted Vest, and a pair of Trousers, fly fronts; a blue diagonal cloth Coat, double- breasted, two pockets outside laps, and one inside left breast, half worn; a grey and blue striped woollen Shirt; a soft grey billycock hat: and a pair of No. 8 lace- up watertight Boots, with brass eyelet holes, nearly new. By a tramping painter who had lodged in the house about a week, a native of Edinburgh, about 54 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, fresh complexion, blown hair and whiskers, turning grey, bald on top of head, shaves upper lip and chin, large nose, small face ; dressed in black cloth shooting coat and vest, much worn, dark mixture cloth trousers, soiled with paint, black cloth cap, with very large top, leather strap, and two brass buttons, and supposed the stolen boots. Williams, Thornton, and Sykes, payable to Mr. J. Watson : he is 27 years of age, about 5 teet 9 inches high, rather dark complexion, very slight dark moustache, brown hair, slight peculiarity in his speech, and of good address; dressed in brown check under suit, brown overcoat, brown bowler hat, with name of ' Mumford, Weymouth,' in lining. He carried a small black leather bag containing toilet articles, and an American cloth parcel which contained wearing apparel.
