C. * » * Whenever it is desired that any person should be appre- hended, and the Name is given, it is indispensably necessary that an Information should be made and sworn to before a Magistrate, of the Offence charged, and an attested copy thereof, together with the Advertisement, forwarded to the Editor fori nsertion. As no charge is made for the insertion of amy article in the POLICE GAZETTE, aBI Letters addressed to the Editor luust be prepaid, otherwise the insertion will not be made. It is requested that the names and Descriptions of Deserters and Absentees from the Militia, as well as those from the regular Army, intended for insertion in the POLICE GAZETTE, may be addressed to " The Under Secretary of State for War, War Office, Pall Mall, London, S. W.," as they cannot be published without his authority. On the 2nd instant, three cottages situate at Green Hill, Evesham, were entered by means of skeleton keys, aud the following property stolen therein : an old- fashioned Bilver Watch, with gold hands and bull's- eye glass, maker ' John Hill, Evesham,' on the works ; au old- fashioned silver Watch, gold hands, with silver Chaiu, a gold Key, ar- d a common brass Key attached ; two Sovereigns, fis. 6d. in Silver, and 3d. in Copper Money. Between 10 a. m. and 1 p. m. on the 5th instant, the dwelling- bouse of William Richardson, of Frant, Sussex, was broken aud entered, and the following Property stoleu : two old small silver Tea Spoons, marked'J. B.;' oue old small ditto ; oue large ditto; six silver Tea Spoons; a brown leather Purse, lined with blue ; a large Telescope ; a Pen Kuife, with tortoiseshell haudle and two blades ; a pair of Nail Scissors; a silver Pencil- case ; aud about £ 6 iu Gold and Silver.
