INFORMATIONS MURDER AND MALICIOUSLY WOUNDING Absconded from Llananno on the 23rd instant, JOSEPH EVANS, charged with poaching on the land* of G. H. Phillips, Esq , Abbeycromhir, and shooting one Thomas George, a keeper, with intent to kill and murder him : he is about 27 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, proportionate make, fiesh complexion, brown hair, sandy whiskers round the chin, and about G iuches long. £ 5 reward will be given for the appre- hension and conviction of the s* id Joseph Evans. luformation to be given to Superintendent Constance, Pennybout, or Ser- geant Jones, Rhayader, Radnorshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, November 26. Information to be ifiven at the Police Office, Leek, Staffordshire.— Bow- street, November 26. On the evening of the 13th or morning of the 14th inst., the house of Mr. Last, solicitor,^ of No. 2, Osburn- villas, was entered by climbing up on the portico in frout, and getting in at a bedroom window, and stealing two dark blue Oxlord- made Jackets, a black Great Coat, and a pair of grey Trousers The offenders are supposed to have been disturbed. £ 1 Is reward will be paid to any person giving such information as shall lead to the recovery of the property and conviction of the offender or offenders. Also, on the same evening, between 6 and 8 o'clock, the house of Mr. Lomas, of No. 5, Alma- villas was entered by the parlour window during the absence of the fauiily, having been left unfastened, and a cheffonier broken open, but no property taken, as the thieves are supposed to have been distnrbed by the Bervant girl coming down stairs in a hurry about the time. Information to be given to Superintendent Eagar, Windsor.— Bow- street, November 26. Between the hours of 10 p. m. on the 20th and 6 a. m. on the 21st instant, the dwelling- house of William Knight. Edge- street, Walbrook, Princes End, was entered and tho following property stolen therefrom : a pair of men's Uce up Boots with brass eyelet boles, a pair of women's eta- tic side kid Boots, neatly new and about 30 lbs. of Meat. ' A man of ffi On the 16th instant, the dead body of a newly- born female following description, who is supposed to be a returned convict, Infant, sown up in a piece of dark lining apparently torn from is strongly suspected : about 38 years of age, 6 feet 6 inches a won an's dress, was found in the river at Hunsdon Mill, high, stiff set, very short dark hair, no whiskers, dark features, Herts. A coroner's inquest was held on the 19th and adjourned and rather high cheekbones ; dressed in black cloth coat, vest, until the 28th instant. A woman of the following description and trousers, box hit, and a pair of superior indiaruhber was seen between Hunsdon and Stanstead, on the 13th instant: leggings, coming over the thighs and fastened with a dark cord a tramp, about 22 years of age, 1 . ng features, and very pale ; at each side of the leg, all nearly new ; was carrying a leather dressed in a greeu shawl and white straw bonnet. She was hatbox, supposed to contain housebreaking imp ements ; it is sitting by the side of the road, and appeared in a very weak likely that he is accompanied by a short man, ahout 65 years state. Barlow, E- q.. at Shirley, was entered by the front Mr. Sharpe with intent to minder, or do bodily harm, he was window, and a quantity of Jewellery stolen trom the bed- sitting in a chair about 6 feet from the window writing at the rooms, most of which has sincte been recovered. Between 10 p m. on the night of the 13th instant, and 7 a. m. on the following morning, the dwelling- house of Mary Grove, pawnbroker, Uttoxeter, was burjaiiotnly entered and the following property was stolen therefrom, two old fashioned silver verge Watches, without chains or key-, a pair of second hand woollen cord trousers and 26s. in silver and copper coins. Two men of the following descr ption are suspected, having been seen loitering about the house: from 28 to 28 years of age, about 6 fret 8 inches high, stout build, light complexion, little or no whisker, light hair rattier bushy, rather large nose broad at the end, and dressed in a biowu monkey jacket, light trousers, supposed moleskin, and black bowler hat; the other is about 20 years of age, 6 feet 4 or 5 iorhes high, stout build, fresh complexion, dark browu hair, no whiskers, and dressed in a blue guernsey frock, black cloth trousers and cap, and light boots ; had the appearance of a tailor. Between 12 p. m. on the 17th, and 8 30 a. ra. on the 18th instant, the cottage of James Thompson, labourer, Beaconsfield, was feloniously entered aud a Work hoi conta ning six common Tea Spoons, two Table Spoons, a piece of cotton lace, and some papers, stolen theretrom. At 3 30 a. m. on the 14' h instant, a m « n entered the dwelling- house Of Mr. Robert Utley, Wo. 36, Northgate. Blackburn, and stole from a bedroom a I dy's Dress, wliich has beeu recovered. The entrance was effected by a back window. He leit in the house his boots and cap. tie is about 40 yeais of age, 6 leet 8 or 9 inches high, oval fact*, swarthy complexion, brown whiskers meeting under chin, may have a moustache; dressed in blue coat, Cird trousers, and dark cap ; dirty appearance. The boots have elastic sides, plain leather fronts, grained calf- skin lops slightly broken, recently soled, two rows ot small square headed nails round near the outside and row of small round headed iiou rivets between the rows ot nails, the Botes are shaped to a narrow point in centie of foot, may have been noled within three weeks: the cap is of black cloth, 8' iffened round the sides, French peak, brass button on one side the other off, stitched double row round sides, leather strap with biasB buckle tautened at one side with thread and the other a button. During the same morning the bouse of Mr. Baines, No. 13, Darwen sheet, Blackburn, was entered by a back window, aod a pair of Blucher Boots stolen therefrom, three holes on each side, very strong soles with strong square headed nails all over them, heels worn dowu on the outside, a small crack in upper leather of one or both. Stolen ( luring the night of the 14th instantor early ( he following noming, fiom a held at Flouch, near Thurlstone, a brown roadster brood Mare, tu foal, with long black mane, tail cut square, a little white in centre of forehead and on off hind foot, about 15 hands high, in good condition, and in milk, having had a foal sucking. She WHS so'd or exchanged about 6 p. m. on the 17th instant, in Manchester Fair, by a low horse dealer named JOHN O'BRION, who is iu custody charged with stealing her. Found on the night of the 17th instant, at Buriton, and supposed to have been stolen, a brown mare Pony, about ' years oil, 13$ hands high, lias a few grey hairs in centre of forehead, small white spot on back under the saddle, a few white hairs on off hind heel, thick ca', tail cut square, and shoe off the off hind toot. Supposed to have been stolen on the 19 h instant, from Hazle Gate, near Guisborough, in the North Riding of York- shire, the property of Elijah Pegg, farmer, a roan Heifer, 2 years old.
