[ 3 ] RETURN showing the Names of the COUNTY SURVEYORS in each County in Ireland, and their ASSISTANTS, with their respective SALARIES, stating the Lowest and Highest for the Seven Years previous to the Act 24 & 25 Vict. c. 43: — STATEMENT of the COUNTY SURVEYORS and ASSISTANTS whose SALARIES have been advanced by GRAND JURIES, pursuant to the Act 24 & 25 Vict., and the Amount so advanced in each County :— And, RETURN of the Names of each County, if any, where the GRAND JURIES required their COUNTY SURVEYORS or ASSISTANTS not to engage in Private Practice. COUNTY OF ANTRIM. RE TURN showing the Names of the COUNTY SURVEYORS and their ASSISTANTS, with their respective SALARIES, for the Seven Years previous to the Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 43; also, Statement of the COUNTY SURVEYORS and ASSISTANTS whose SALARIES have been advanced by GRAND JURIES, pursuant to the Act 24 & 25 Vict. Names of County Surveyors and Assistants. OBSERVATIONS. Paid 300 I. per annum, seven years previous to passing of 24 & 25 Vict. Advanced to 600 I. a year, since passing of 24 & 25 Vict. Twelve Assistants in each year, for seven years, at 50 I. per annum, previous to 24 & 25 Vict. Ten Assistants at advanced annual salary of 75 L, under 24 & 25 Vict. COUNTY SURVEYORS : Charles Lanyon - Alexander Yate - ASSISTANTS : James M'Kennon. Hugh Hamill. Hugh Rodgers. Daniel Hannah. John Giffen. Andrew Patterson. James M'Neill. David Logan. Edward Magee. David Kyle. Samuel Smith. James Corry. Henry Johnston. Archibald Jamison. John English. Robert Irving. John Patton. Xote.— No condition made as to engaging in private practice, either as to County Surveyor or Assistants. John Coates, Secretary. 3 April 1863. COUNTY OF ARMAGH. County Surveyor, Henry Davidson, Esq.; present annual salary, 400 I.; raised last assizes from 300 I. per annum. Four Assistant Surveyors, at 50 I. per annum each; viz., John O'Callaghan, John Anderson, James Mahon, and William Stevenson.
