16 RETURNS RELATING TO COUNTY SURVEYORS ( lRELANL>). QUEEN'S COUNTY. County Surveyor, Horace W. Townsend ; salary, 300/. per annum, for seven years previous to the Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 43. First Assistant, Adam Taylor; Second Assistant, William Long; Third Assistant, John Berry. Salary 50 /. per^ annum for seven vears previous to Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 43. The County Surveyor's salary was increased to 500 /. per annum, pursuant to Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 43. The salary of Assistants was not increased. The Grand Jury did not require their County Surveyor or Assistants not to engage in private practice. 7 April 1863. H. Despard. COUNTY OF ROSCOMMON. RETURN of the Names of the COUNTY SURVEYOR and his ASSISTANTS, with their re- spective SALARIES, for the Seven Years previous to the Act 24 & 25 Vict. c. 43; and a Statement of the Amount of said Salaries advanced under the said Act. John Kelly, County Surveyor ; 300/. yearly salary ; appointed in 1834. Pat Dolan, County Surveyor's Assistant; 50/. yearly salary; appointed in 1857. Pat Kelly, County Surveyor's Assistant; 50/. yearly salary; appointed in 1857. Pat Marlow, County Surveyor's Assistant; 50 /. yearly salary; appointed in 1858. John Kelly, County Surveyor; 200/. yearly salary, advanced under the Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 63. No restriction against private practice. Assistants' salaries not advanced.
