WHEBKAS, on the morning of the 29th ultimo, the body of a male infant, aged about six months, was found in a gripe, among grass, on the lands of Cor- beagh, barony of Tullygarvey, county Cavan, having been murdered by its unnatural parent, or a party unknown. \ I hereby offer a reward of £ 20 to any person who shall, within six months from the dateiiereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the party concerned in this outrage. DUBLIN CASTLE, December 13,1862. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that about the hour of 5 o'clock, on the afternoon of the 3rd of June, 1862, William J. H. Moreland, Esq., was fired at on the public road at Poulagour, in the barony of Tulla Upper, and county of Clare, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by William O'Hara, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tulla, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the night of th'e 17th instant, Mr. John Cussen was fired at and wounded at his residence at Ballyfokeen, in the barony of Connelloe, in the county of Limerick, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrator of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son who shall, within six months from the date here- of, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by R. J. Grace Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Bruff to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. WHEREAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Boss and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persona who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by R. A. O'Donnell, Esq., Resident Magistrate at Long- ford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat Ross and James Ross:— Patrick, 35 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose, cut on his lip, brown hair; wore a gray frieze coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; wore a jim crow hat. Will try to escape to America. WHEREAS, on the morning of the 16th instant, the body of Fanny Bradley, spinster, aged 24 years, was found on the lands of Leitrim North, in the barony of Leyney, county of Sligo, having been murdered by a party at present unknown. I hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the party concerned in this outrage. WHEBEAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 30th of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperary, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of age, 6 feet high, stout make, dark sallow complexion, large heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, kneo breeches, black stockings, Caroline bat; stooped shoulders, ami a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of tbe head, wilh a few stray bairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. tie may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. ( B. 10071— 10283.) DESCRIPTION of a gun, the property of Mr. Frede- rick J. Eagar, which was taken from his house on the lands of Clonfinane, parish of Loughkeen, barony of Lower Ormond, on the 26th day of April, 1863, by a party of two persons, unknown and disguised:— Single barrelled, with carved stock, the latter in good order. The gun has three different cocks, and has been brazed ( with lead), within some three or four inches of the muzzle. Sue about that of the old constabulary car- bine, and very light. DESCRIPTION of James M'Loughlin, native of Bog- gagh, county Westmeath, who stands charged with having, on the night of 24th April, 1863, at Toorydon- lon, in the barony of Clonlonon, parish of Kilcleagh, waylaid and so seriously assaulted Thomas Daly that his life is in danger:— 25 years of age, 5 feet 7^ inches hifeh, very stout make, fresh complexion, round full face, commcu& nose, light brown hair; wore an old dark cloth cap, gM^ f frieze coat, cord trowsers, tweed vest; high- low or navvy boots; smooth face, no whiskers, low forehead, rather well- looking, very strong, active man; was recently employed On the Midland Great Western Railway, at Enfield ( labourer). Supposed to be accompanied by his wife, who is about 50 years of ago, low size, and respectably dressed. They are likely to emigrate. Moate, 1st May, 1863. ( B. 18988— 8566.)
