[ 3 ] RETURNS, from the 31st day of March 1860 to the 31st day of March 1861, of the Names of the THEOLOGICAL and other PROFESSORS and PEN- SIONERS at Belfast ( Subscribing and Not Subscribing), receiving Money from PARLIAMENTARY GRANTS ; and of the Number and Names of STUDENTS attending all the Professors, and how many attend each Professor, distinguishing such as attend the Non- Subscribing Professors; stating whether they respectively intend for the Ministry in Ireland, or as Missionaries Abroad, & c. RETURN by John Edgar, D. D., LL. D., Professor of Theology, Presbyterian College, Belfast. Belfast, 28 April 1862. MY class meets for one hour on each lawful day, from November till May ; and my students all attend during the whole session. They are all studying with a view to the Presbyterian ministry, to labour wherever the Church shall appoint them. My only public income is 250 L, annually received from Government as professor.
