Freemen £. 10 householders Total - 223 683 906 No poll was taken at the last general election, there being no contest for this borough. 16 December 1837. H. Hinton, Town Clerk. WESTBURY. With respect to the first statements, I think it right to observe, that in very many instances the name of one individual appears twice on the register; first, in respect of his house quali- fication, and afterwards in respect of his scot and lot qualification; but from the manner in which the register is made up, it is not in my power to distinguish how many individuals thus appear twice, and consequently the actual number of electors in each year cannot be ascertained.
