THE number of electors registered in the new borough of Sheffield, all of whom are, of course, 101, occupiers, according to the register which was in force between the 1st December 1836 and 1st November 1837, is 4,028 ; and the number of electors who actually polled in that borough at the late general election is 2,700 persons. THE number of electors registered for this borough for 1836 and 1837, was 644, all their qualifications being houses, shops, and manufactories.
