AT THE LAST GENERAL ELECTION. 37 M 63 MALTON. THERE were 603 electors registered in this borough for 1836 and 1837; viz. In respect of property occupied within the parish of St. Leonard, New Malton ------------ In respect of any other rights within the same parish - In respect of property occupied within the parish of St. Michael, New Malton In respect of any other rights in the same parish - In respect of property occupied within the parish of Old Malton In respect of property occupied within the parish of Norton - Total - - - - The representation of this borough was not contested at the late general election. 16 December 1837. Henry Smithson, Returning Officer. MANCHESTER. THE number of electors registered for the year ending October 1836 was 10,123; and for the year ending October 1837, 11,185. The number of electors who actually polled at the late general election was 6,146. The only qualification of electors in this borough is the occupation of premises of the yearly value of 10/. and upwards. John Brown, Boroughreeve, 16 December 1837.
