'• 254 ELECTORS REGISTERED, AND VOTERS POLLED PEMBROKE. The number of freemen on the register of 1837 is 584 ; and the number of municipal electors on the burgess roll, revised last year, is 699. It is not in my power to furnish the further particulars required, which can only be done by employing several persons to go about the country, at a great expense ; to meet which there are no available funds in the borough of Pembroke. 12 January 1838. The number of municipal electors on the register after the revision of 1837 was 391, of which number 36 are not also qualified to vote for Members to serve in Parliament. _ 16 December 1837. J.
