The number of freemen on the register of 1837 entitled to vote in the election of Members to serve in Parliament - -- -- -- -- - 424 The number of such freemen not entitled to vote by virtue of any other qualification for Members of Parliament:— I have no documents in my possession, as town clerk, enabling me to answer this inquiry; but from the best information I can obtain, the number of freemen not entitled to vote for Members of Parliament by virtue of any other qualification is from 220 to 230. The number of such freemen who are not municipal electors - - - - 36 The total number of municipal electors on the register after the revision of 1837, 1,930 The number of such electors who are not also qualified to vote for Members to serve in Parliament:— I have no means of answering this question correctly; I believe the number is about 35 in each of the six wards, making a total of 210. The number of such electors who are so qualified as freemen only :— The number of resident freemen, being also municipal electors, and qualified to vote for M embers of Parliament as freemen only, is 388. The number of freemen on the register of 1837 as entitled to vote in the election of a Member to serve in Parliament, 50 ; of such freemen, 22 are not entitled to vote by virtue of any other qualification for a Member of Parliament, and of such freemen, 28 are not municipal electors. The total number of municipal electors on the register after the revision of 1837, 120 ; of such electors, 34 are not qualified to vote for a Member to serve in Parliament, and of those, two qualified as freemen only. 15 December 1837. Edgar Chenery, Town Clerk. FALMOUTH. There are no freemen entitled to vote in the election of Members to serve in Parliament. The total number of municipal electors on the register of 1837 is 179, of whom 16 are not qualified to vote for Members to serve in Parliament, and none of those so qualified are freemen. 18 December 1837.
