Number of new Voters admitted by Registration and Appeal Courts in 1836 : There was no contest in Ross- shire at the late general election. Alex. Davidson, Sheriff Clerk Depute. COUNTIES OF ROSS AND CROMARTY. THERE is but one register of electors kept for the combined counties of Ross and Cro- marty, which is in the possession of the sheriff clerk of Ross, who will, of course, make the required return for both counties. 11 December 1837.
