172] ELECTORS REGISTERED, AND VOTERS POLLED, COUNTY OF INVERNESS. COUNTY OF KINCARDINE. Number of Electors Registered. N. B.— There was no poll in the county of Kincardine at the late general election in 1837. Stonehaven, December 1837. Wm• Steward, Sheriff Clerk. COUNTY OF KINROSS. Two proprietors of land ; 11 tenants of land ; nine proprietors of houses and gardens, and one occupant of a house and garden; 23 in whole, were enrolled in 1836. Four proprietors of land; nine tenants of land; nine proprietors of houses and gardens, and two occupants of houses and gardens ; in whole 24,
were enrolled in 1837. With regard to the number of electors who actually polled in this county at the late general election, I have to state that the poll- books for the united counties of Clackmannan and Kinross are kept by the sheriff clerk of Clackmannan, and I cannot therefore comply with this part of the order. 5 February 1838.
