26 Shipping. and Saturday, at 12 o'clock, and arrives on the al- ternate days at 2 P. M. PETERHEAD DEFIANCE, leaves the above office at £ past 3 P. M. daily, ( except Sunday) and arrives at Peter- head at 7. Leaves Peterhead on return at 6, and arrives in Aberdeen at half- past D A. M. ROB- ROY, to Tarland, via Garlogie, Echt, and Midmar, from 22, Schoolhill, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 11 A. M. reaches Tarland at 4 P. M. Leaves on return every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 8 A. M. and arrives in Aberdeen at 1 P. M. The Rob Roy goes on to Ballater during the sum- mer months. ROYAL HIGHLANDRR, from coach- office, 61, Union Street, every day ( except Sunday) at £ before 7 A. M. reaches Ballater about 1 P. M. ; and Braemar at 3.30. During winter the Royal Highlander leaves Aberdeen at 10 A. M. ROYAL UNION to Edinburgh, via Stonehaven, Laurence- kirk, Brechin, Forfar, Dundee, Cupar, & e. from Melvin's Hotel, and General Coach- office, Cross, daily, ( except Sunday) at £ before 10 P. M. CANAL CONVEYANCE. The ABERDEENSHIRE CANAL is open to all comers paying toll at the rate of £ d. to 2d. per ton per mile, according to description of goods conveyed. Barges for the transit of grain, lime, coals, and other goods, sail daily from each end of the canal. A swift iron gig- boat for passengers starts daily from Loch 14, near Ketty Brewster. SHIPPING COMPANIES. Aberdeen and London NORMAND YULE, Manager, 21, Quay. The Company have 9 Smacks, one or more of which sail regularly every week from Aberdeen. All of them have good accommodation for passengers. The Company's Steam Ship, the City of Aberdeen, sails from Aberdeen every Friday. Aberdeen, Leitli, and Clyde R. MITCHELL, Manager. 3 Smacks trade regularly between Aberdeen and Leith ; and 3 between Aberdeen and Glasgow— These vessels sail once a week. The Rotterdam Packet also sails from the Company's berth at the Quay. Aberdeen and Hull THOS. WEBSTER, jun. Manager, 56, Marischal Street, Have 3 vessels in the trade, one of which sails every week.
