CANAL CONVEYANCE. The ABERDEENSHIRE CANAL is open to all comers paying toll at the rate of £ d. to 2d. per ton per mile, according to description of goods conveyed. Barges for the transit of grain, lime, coals, and other goods, sail daily from each end of the canal. A swift iron gig- boat for passengers starts daily from Loch 14, near Ketty Brewster.
