In answer to your letter of the 28th instant, as to whether any Jesuit or member of a religious order residing in the county of the city of Lincoln, had been registered at my office, agreeably to the 28 sec. of 10 Geo. 4, c. 7. The above is a copy of the only registry I have been required to make under that clause, as clerk cf the peace for the city of Lincoln and county of the same city, I have the honour to be, Sir, your obedient humble servant, Richard Mason. 542.
