AGUES BELONGING TO THE CHURCH IN IRELAND. N° 7.— Dioceses of DUBLIN AND GLAND EL AG H— continued. 34.— Parish of Narraghmore : THERE are twelve acres of Glebe, on which there is an excellent residence for the Parish Minister. No part of the land is either waste or uncultivated. 35.— Parish of Inch: THERE is a Glebe in this Parish, on which is the glebe house, containing seventeen acres and a half arable pasture and meadow, and one in Kilgorman of twenty acres, situated on the coast; partly arable, pasture and meadow subject to floods. No part of either can be truly said to be waste. TT. 11 T , ^ . 0 Hill Benson, Incumbent from 1814. 36.— Parish of Fonstown : One Glebe containing - - - 16 acres, 2 roods, 16 perches. Number of acres in the Parish, 2803, exclusive of Glebe; one Church in the Parish. Tithe composition finally settled. Amount of composition £. 2go per annum. Given under my hand this 17th day of March. John Bagot, Rector. 37.— Parish of Raheny : 554 Acres of land in the Parish. 34 Acres of Glebe, all arable. 38.— Parish of Blessington and Rathmore : IN Blessington, there is neither Glebe land nor Glebe house. In Rathmore, there is a Glebe containing twelve acres and a half, and a new glebe house, in which the Curate resides. 39.— Parish of Rathcool: THE Glebes of this Parish amount to 13 acres ; they are subdivided into several parts through the Parish. There were only 8 acres or thereabout until the year 1820, at which time 5 acres more were added by Commissioners appointed by authority of Parliament for disposing of certain commons in the county of Dublin; and although these Commissioners were bound by a clause in said Act to annex part of such commons as were next and most contiguous to the glebe houses in different Parishes, and also to ditch the same in for the Incumbents ; instead of obeying this clause, the said Commissioners sold 18 acres of valuable land at the rear of the glebe house of this Parish, and allotted 5 acres of a waste and barren hill of little value, and totally useless to any Incumbent, being a green quarry, and upwards of a mile distant from the glebe house ; neither would they ditch it in according to the Act. Such is the state of the Glebes of this Parish. 40.— Parish of Kilsallaghan : ONE Glebe consisting of thirty- two acres, no waste or uncultivated ground in it. Too much money has been expended by the present Incumbent, in draining and improvement, to admit of waste. • Glebe- house, Kilsallaghan, 1 C. H. Doyle, Vicar. March 13, 1824. J' 41.— Parish of Athy : SEVEN acres, all cultivated. Athy, March 22, 1824. Charles Bristoe, Clerk, Resident Curate. 42.— Parish of Timolin : THERE is but one Glebe in this Parish, containing twenty acres, all cultivated 43. Parish of Kilgobbin : FOURTEEN acres of arable and pasture Glebe lands. 402. D
