4() FURTHER A. CCOU NTS RELATING TO THE Appendix ( A.)— continued. DIOCESES OF DUBLIN AND GLANDELAGH. An Account of the Churches and Glebe Houses for erecting which Sums of Money have been advanced by way of Gift or Loan, and of which the completion has not yet been duly certified to the Board ; together with the Reasons assigned for the delay in their completion, wherever unforeseen delay has existed. ATHY :— The portion of the grant which was received had been expended upon the offices; the glebe house is not built; and the Archbishop, who is but lately come into the diocese, is now engaged in the investigation of the subject, and in proceedings to accomplish the purpose of the grant. An Account of the several Benefices in the Dioceses of Dublin and Glandelagh, for which Applications have been made under the 43d and 48th George the Third, for a Loan or Gift of Money to assist the Incumbent in erecting a Glebe House ; together with a Statement of the Number and estimated Extent of the Parishes comprized therein, and whether such Parishes are contiguous, or otherwise, whenever the Benefice consisted of an Union of two or more Parishes; and also stating, whether such Union had been formed by an Act of Council, or Episcopally, and at what period. DONAGIIBATE UNION:— Consists of two parishes; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about two miles from north to south, and one mile and a half from east to west; these, parishes are episcopally united time immemorial. CLONDALKIN :— Consists of one parish. FONSTOWN :— Consists of one parish. RAIIENY :— Consists of one parish. CLOGRAN :— Consists of one parish. NEWCASTLE, County Wicklow :— Consists of one parish. DUNLAVIN UNION :— Consists of four parishes ; they are contiguous to each other ; the benefice is about four miles from east to west, and three miles from north to south; these parishes were united by act of Council in 1814. BALROTHERY:— Consists of one parish. KILGOBBIN Consists of one parish. DERRALOSSORY :— Consists of one parish. POWERSCOURT :— Consists of one parish. CLONMETHAN UNION:— Consists of five parishes; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about five miles from east to west, and six. miles from north to south; these parishes were united by act of Council in 1675. NARRAGHMORE :— Consists of one parish. STRAFF AN UNION :— Consists of two parishes ; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about four miles from north to south, and five miles from east to west; these parishes are episcopally united time immemorial. LUSK :— Consists of one parish. HOLLYWOOD :— Consists of one parish. RATHMORE UNION :— Consists of two parishes ; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about five miles from east to west, and four miles from north to south ; episcopally united time immemorial. LEIXLIP UNION :— Consists of five parishes; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about four miles and a half from east to west, and three miles from north to south; these parishes were united by act of Council previous to the year 1662; the time cannot be more particularly ascertained. ATHY UNION :— Consists of three parishes; they are contiguous to each other; the benefice is about six miles from east to west, and about six miles from north to south; these parishes were united by Act of Council in 1804.
