DIQCESE OF CLOYNE. • Return of Glebe Houses ; for erecting which, Sums of Money have been advanced by way of Gift or Loan, and of which the Completion has not yet been duly certified to the Board ; together with the Reasons assigned for the Delay in their Completion. GLEBE HOUSES : CLONFERT ----- £. 1,125 loan. CARRIGTOHIL - 450 - d° and £. 300 gift. AHERN 300 - d° and 300 d°. The Case of CLONFERT stands thus: The incumbent to whom the £. 1,125 was paid, died insolvent before the building was completed. His successor has called upon the securities to finish the buildings, which they have refused. The case has been submitted to counsel, and an action at law ordered against the securities of the deceased insolvent. Ahern glebe house is finished. Carrigtohil glebe house is finished, but not yet duly certified. r~ No. 1. 3. 3- 6. An Account of all Parishes in the Diocese of Cloyne, which have been united by Episcopal Authority. The extent not ascertained or registered, but all lie con- tiguous ; and separately, are very small, and of little value. r - - - but contiguous, and close to the church. d°. d". - - d°. d°. d°. OBSERVATIONS.— Except N° 1, I do not think any of the above Unions could ( at present) bear to be dissolved, without reducing the minister to beggary.
