An Account of all Unions of Parishes now subsisting in the Diocese of Tuam, effected by Episcopal authority, with the number of Parishes, Vicarages or Rectories, and the estimated extent of the Parishes so united, & c. Union of Kilmainamore, Kilmainabeg, Moorgaga; all rectories and vicarages, and all contiguous. Union of Kilmolara, Ballinahulla, Ross; all rectories and vicarages, and con- tiguous, except Ross, which is separated from the other two. Union of Balla, vicarage, Roslee, rectory and vicarage, Minola - - - d° are contiguous. Union of Ballinrobe, Kilvine; each rectory and vicarage not contiguous. Union of Crosboyne, rectory and vice Kilcoleman - - d° Mayo - - - - d° are contiguous. Union of Moylough, rectory and vice Ballinakelly - - d" Kilmoylan & Kilmacrone d° are contiguous. The earliest date which can be found in the regis- try of this Diocese of this Union, is in the year 1670, The year 1670. The year 1691. In the year 1802. In the year 1668. In the year 1762. A very considerable part of this is rock and wild mountain. An Account of Churches and Glebe Houses, for erecting which Sums of Money have been advanced by way of Gift or Loan, and of which the completion has not yet been duly cer- tified to the Board ; together with the Reasons assigned for the Delay in their completion. Date. 1820 1819 PARISH. Fanlobbus - Abbey Stroury Sum Paid. £. 1,000 £. 300 Reasons of Delay of Completion. Loan for building a church :- built sufficiently. Gift for building a church, which has not yet been commenced, the ground whereon it was intended to be built having, on digging for the foundation, been found so soft that one half of the sum granted for building the church would be wasted in laying a secure foundation. Another scite has been obtained from Mr. Townsend, whose illness for the present prevents the execution of the necessary deeds, but it hoped that the building may proceed this spring and summer. is 1821 1 Rathbarry 1820 Temple Trine - - - £. 600 Gift for building a church, which is now nearly completed by the care and munificence of Lord Carbery, at an expence far exceeding the amount of the gift from the Board, and will be consecrated in the ensuing spring."" £. 618. 15s. Loan for building glebe- house, which being now completed, a commission has issued for viewing it; on the return of which, the completion, & c. will be immediately certified. Kilmocomogue ----- Loan for building a church, the shell of which has been completed long since; but the money is all exhausted, in consequence of the scite chosen being on groundwhere the founda- tion proved bad, and from other unforeseen difficulties; the Board, under their rules could not in better times make an additional loan, and now, from the impoverished state of the country, the interest of the loan made catmot be raised. 24'.
