FURTHER RETURNS. 1.— An Account, in detail, of all Sums of Money received by the Commissioners of FIRST FRUITS REVENUES in Ireland, either from Parliamentary Grant, or otherwise, from the ist of January 1801 to the present time;— specifying the Sources from whence they have been derived, and the Purposes to which they have been directed to be applied, by Act of Parliament, or otherwise; and the date of their receipt P- 39 2.— An Account, in detail, of the Objects to which these Sums of Money have been actually applied, with the dates of the several Payments, and the names of the parties to whom such Payments have been made - ibid. 3.— A similar Account, in the case of LOANS ; distinguishing the conditions of Repayment affixed thereto, and stating how far such terms have been fulfilled p. 42 4.— An Account of the CHURCHES and GLEBE HOUSES for erecting which, Sums of Money have been advanced by way of GIFT or LOAN, and of which the completion has not yet been duly certified to the Board, together with the reasons assigned for the delay in their completion, wherever unforeseen delay has existed - -- -- -- -- ibid. 5.— An Account of the Annual Value of the several Benefices, as certified to the Board, to ground an application under the Acts 43 and 48 Geo. 3, for a Loan or Gift of Money to assist the Incumbent in erecting a Glebe House; together with a Statement of the number and estimated extent of the Parishes comprized therein, and whether such Parishes are contiguous or otherwise, whenever the Benefice consisted of an Union of two or more Parishes ; and also stating, whether such Union had been formed by Act of Council or Episcopally, and at what period - ibid. 6.— An Account of any measures which may have been adopted by the Commissioners of First Fruits in Ireland, within the last Twenty years, for effecting a more exact Valuation of the Benefices contributing thereto, and of including therein such Benefices as have not heretofore been valued for that purpose ----------- - ibid. 7.— An Account of the several Parishes which have been united under the authority of the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland, from the ist day of January 1818 ; specifying the date of such Orders of Council, and the names of the Parishes united, and the Diocese in which they are situated ------- ibid. 8.— A like Account of such as have been disunited by the same authority, during the same period:— And, ibid. 9.— An Account of all UNIONS OF PARISHES now subsisting, effected by Episcopal Authority; specifying the number of Parishes, and whether Vicarages or Rectories, and the date of com- mencement of such Union, and the estimated extent of the Parishes so united, together with the name of the Bishop by whom such Union has been authorized - ibidi SIR, Dublin, 2ist March 1823. * IN obedience to the directions conveyed to me in your letter of the 11th instant, I have now the honour to send you, pursuant to the Order of The Honourable the House of Commons, dated February 11th last, the Ecclesiastical Returns by the Board of First Fruits, from the ist May 1822, to the 5th January 1823, being a continuation of the Accounts sent you on the 29th of January last, according to the Order of the House, made 4th July 1822, containing Returns, as then required, from ist May 1801 to ist May 1822, the present exhibiting a continuous Statement to the latest period to which the accounts of the Board are made up, as desired. I have also received, since my letter of the 29th January, the following additional Statements from the Bishops of the respective Dioceses, in reference to the Orders of the House of Commons, which I have the honour to submit; viz.— Diocese of Armagh, — Dublin and Glandelagh. — Tuam and Ardagh, — Cork and Ross, — Down and Connor, — Ossory, — Clonfert and Kilmacduagh, — Cloyne, — Kilmore.
