ON PETITIONS RELATING TO LIMERICK TAXATION. Every hundred of dried ling or cod, four pence, and so in proportion. Every horse load of laths - - one penny. M. one farthing. Every barrel of malt Every pair of mill- stones, three shillings and four pence. Every barrel of mutton - - one penny. Every mutton slaughtered - one farthing. Every horse load of milk - one farthing. N. Every truckle load of nuts Every horse load of ditto Every bag of ditto O. Every puncheon of oil Every hogshead of ditto Every tierce of ditto Every barrel of ditto Every runlet of ditto - Every horse load of oysters Every truckle load of onions Every horse load of ditto Every flasket or basket of ditto Every otter skin - P. three pence, two pence, one halfpenny. six pence, four pence, three pence, two pence, one penny, one penny, three pence, two pence, one halfpenny, one halfpenny. Every barrel of pork - one penny. Every hogshead of porter or other English beer, three pence, and so in proportion. Every barrel of ditto - twopence. Every pig trough, drawn by an horse one penny. Q. Every horse load of quick or fruit trees, three pence. R. Every dozen of rabbits Every cask of raisins one penny, ditto. S. Every horse load of calf skins, above three dozen, four pence. Three dozen or under, to pay by the dozen, one penny Under three skins, to pay for each one farthing. Every horse load of calf skins, goat skins, sheep skins and lamb skins mixed together, four pence. Every truckle load of salt - - twopence. Every horse load of ditto - - one penny. Every horse skin ... one penny. Every dozen of sheep or goat skins, one penny. Every hundred of lamb or coney skins, two pence. Every pack or horse load of sheep or goat skins, four pence. Every kip skin ... one halfpenny. Every load of gaunagh skins, exceeding 16', four pence. And any quantity under 16 to pay one farthing for each skin. Every tierce of salmon - - three pence. Every 40, pipe, hogshead or barrel staves, one of them, or one penny. Every horse load of slates - one farthing. Every dozen of stockings - one penny. Every 1 oowt. of soap - - one penny. Every dozen of spade trees or wooden shovels, one penny. Every horse load of scallops - two pence. Every dozen of saddle trees - one penny. Every horse load of ditto - - four pence. Every load of straw - one sheaf. Every dozen of scythes - - one penny. Every dozen of sheep shears - one penny. Every load of showman's or play house goods, four pence. 617. Every horse load of coarse ditto, on the back, one penny. Every chest of tea - - - four pencc. Every car or truckle load of turnips, parsnips or carrots .... one halfpenny. W. Every pack of wool ... three pence. Every pocket of ditto - - three halfpence. Every butt or pipe of wine or strong waters, one shilling. Every hogshead of ditto - Eveiy barrel of ditto - Every stone of bees wax Every horse load of wattles • Every pack of worsted or pence, and so in proportion Every horse, mare, or gelding, sold in the market, to be tolled six pence. Every bull, bullock or cow, sold in the market, to be tolled - four pence. Every standing on market days, ( except for bread and salt,) - one penny. Every car load or truckle load of goods, not spe- cified in this Schedule, and which has hitherto paid custom, to pay - - three pence. The Mayor's Duties. Every ship of coal discharged at any of the quays in the river, two Bristol barrels of coal. Every ship of salt discharged as aforesaid, two barrels of salt. No duty or perquisites whatever to be paid for any fresh fish landed at any of the quays. Water Bailiff's Fees. Of each ship from the Pool to Limerick From Limerick to the Pool the like Quayage ------ Ditto for every boat not belonging to freeman - - - - And for every ton of ballast in or out - Corporation Duties. For anchorage of every ship - - 6 6 All turf, furze and timber in faggots for fuel, to pass free from all custom, tolls and perquisites. Measurer's Fees. For weighing corn, or other things which are sold by weight, for every draft weighing under loowt. one halfpenny; and for every draft of loowt. or upwards, one penny. For measuring all other goods which are sold by measure and not by weight, for every statute barrel, one penny, except for rape seed, and for that one halfpenny per barrel. d. 6 6 6 6 2 Appendix ( B.)
