Amount of fees re- ceived annually on an average of the last 3 years - 209/. 17 s. Amount of fees re- ceived annually on an average of the last 3 years - 104/. 18s. 6d. Allowance from the crown agent, for trials in the Porteous rolls, 20 /. per ann. fees of office about 851 Fees from writings and other business in the office may be be- tween 150/. and 160/. per annum. Vide Commissioners Report, p. 71. Clerks and others, whose Services have been DISCONTINUED DEDUCTIONS. Out of the gross receipts from fees of the principal and depute clerks of Justiciary are deducted the expense of coals, candles, and services for the office; also the expense of paper, writing, and binding the books of adjournal, and stationery for the public bu- siness, amounting to about 40 /. or 50 per annum. The niacer has to pay the ex- penses of two circuits each year out of his salary, fees, and allow- ances.
