OBSERVATIONS. The whole of these offi- cers, with the exception of the four last named riding surveyors, were ap- pointed to supply vacan- cies, by death and resig- nations. The latter persons were added to the esta- blishment, to protect the revenue against itinerant hawkers, trading without licences. Clerks and others, whose Services have been DISCONTINUED. SITUATION.
