10 PERSON S C O M M I T T E D OR IN C O N F I N E M E N T • [ II, Cities, & C. II.— CITIES AND BOROUGHS. ( i.) — LIBERTY OF ST. ALBANS. RETURN of Persons who now are, and have been, since the 17th of May last, in confine- ment in the Prisons in the Liberty and Borough of St. Alban, for Offences against the Game Laws. In the Liberty Gaol Five. I11 the House of Correction of the Libertv and Borough of St. Alban - - - - " •• - - / U1H:- In the Borough Gaol None. J. Palmer, Rickmerworth, Clerk of the Peace for the Liberty March 15, 1817. and Borough of St. Alban. ( 2.) — BRISTOL. No Person is now, or hath been, at any time sincc the 17th of May last, in confinement, in His Majesty's Gaol in this City, for any Offence against the Game Laws. Edward Daniel, i 01 - n- Bristol. ; 7 t> Sheriffs, unsiui, John barrow, 26 February 1817. ( 3.)— BERWICK- UPON- TWEED. No Person now is, nor since the 17th May last, has at any time been, in confinement in the Gaol of this Borough, for Offences against the Game Laws. William Pattison, Berwick- upon- Tweed, Mayor. 25th Feb. J 817. ( 4.)— CANTERBURY. Prisoners committed for Offences against the Game Laws, since: the 14th January last, and up to this present date, both inclusive, which is as follows; viz. Prisoners Names. Date of Commitment. Thomas Austin - William Fuller - John Beal - George Birchett - John Powell James Norton Robert Rogers - St. Augustine's Gaol, near Canterbury, March 28th 1817. January 20th 1817. January 27th 1817. same. January 30th 1817. February 17 th 1817. February 21st 1817. March 8th 1817. Samuel Aris, Keeper. ( 5.)— COVENTRY. There is not now, nor has any Person been in confinement in the Gaol of this City for any Offence against the Game Laws, since the 17th day of May last. On the 3d day of June last, a person of the name of John Porter was convicted in the penalty of of. 5. for fishing in a pond in an inclosed field, without the consent of the owner, and refusing to pay the penalty was committed to the House of Correction for three months, agreeable to the statute, but was discharged 011 payment of the penalty, at the end of the first week.
