Courtney Thomas Hall Arthur Webb Superintcndanr.— The dury of this Officer is to fuperintend the receipt and deliieiy not only of all Letters received at, and England and Foreign Parts; he is alio accountable fur the Amount tf Pottage received in b: th Departments, the Accounts of which Alphabet by his firft Cleik, thofe of 1 he I ittcr, including the uumeious d. fburlemenis paid daily for Rebates, Takings- otf, Petty Remittance Office has been lately alfo added to this Department, and the direction of it placed under his controul. Firft Clerk — The duty of this Officer is to recive from the inteiior Olhce, and deliver out to the Public ail Letters addtcfTed receive the Poftage on the fame, and to account and pay the Amount weekly 10 the Tieafuter. Second Clerk.— To rcceiv.; the Poflage on all Poft. paid Letters, to pay the dilbtirfemenu of Rebates Petty In. idents, & c. and fame. He alfo occafionally afljjfts in the receipt anrt delivery of the Letters on the Alphabet, and fince the'eftabblhme. it of the forwarded in that manner.
