• ( Ireland.)- Eighth REPORT or THE COMMISSIONERS [ Appx. No. 27. Ex trad from GENERAL ORDER, No. 100. Excife Office, Dublin 22d October 1807. " The Board inform you, That they muft exped from you, in future, a more ftricl compliance with the ftanding Regulations and lnftrudions for the prompt Colledion and Remiffion of the Public Revenues, upon pain of the moft fcrious fteps being taken againft you : the Board being determined from this time to effcA a progreffive redudion of the Colledor's Balances, which, in almoft every inftance, is difpropor- tionately and unneceftarily large ; fo that by the 5th of January 1808, they may be reduced in every cafe below the fum of one hundred Pounds, and on no account to be afterwards fuffered to exceed that fum on any of the Weekly Abftrads."
