Killoteran Entire Rectory. These Parishes are contiguous. The three former are all in the city of Waterford, and make about two- thirds of it. It is impossible to ascertain accurately the extent of any parishes within this Diocese, but from the best information I can get, 1 learn that Kilcaragh is about three quarters of a mile long, and about half a mile broad. Kilburne is about a mile and half fquare. And Killoteran is about three miles long and three quarters of a mile broad, and con- tains i, 223 acres. Kilmeaden and Reisk ; the Vicarages are endowed, and their estimated extent given with them. The Dean and Chapter of Waterford have the Tythes of Trinity Parish in com- mon: There are no Tythes from the othe two City Parishes. Rev. Usher Lee; has cure of souls ; resides in the Deanery House in Waterford ; the duties are performed by him and his three Curates, who all reside within the Union. 1. 2. All these Parishes, ex cept Killoteran, are the corps of the Deanery and were probably unit ed at its first instituion. Killoteran was Episco- pally united to the corps of the Deanery in the year 1804, when the pre lent Dean became In cumbent; and it appears that it has been united in the same manner time immemorial. Part of Kilmeaden, called 1 Entire Rectory Stone House - - - - - Part of Kilburne, called Ballycasheen - - - - These Parishes are not contiguous. Kil- barrymeaden is distant from Stone House and ballycasheen at least ten miles ; Bally- casheen and Stone House are about four miles distant from each other. 1. 2. 3- 4- 5- J - - D°. Rev. Joseph Palmer; has no cure of souls ; does not reside, nor do I know where he does reside but is Dean of Cashel ; I know . no proper cause for his Non- Resi dence, unless he resides at the Deanery of Cashel, where he has cure of souls; his reading and preaching turns are performed in the Cathedral of Waterford by a substitute. The corps of the Chauntership, and pro- bably united at the same i. ne when the Deanery was established. 3 Chancellor of Waterford : Reisk Rectory. Kilmacleague D°. Kilmacoomb - D°. Monimointer - — -_ - D°. Part of Kilmeaden ------ Ds. These Parifhes are not contiguous. I can- not ascertain their distance from each other, but I apprehend it is not great; their esti- mated extent is given with the Vicarages. Honble and Rev. Dr. Charles Trench ; has not cure of souls ; resides on his Benefice in the Dio- cese of Clonfert, where he has cure of souls ; his reading and preach- ing turns in the Cathedral of Wa- terford are performed by a sub- stitute.
