Ballynakill, Umma, - - Moyrus, - Ballindown, Ennis Boffin, Killanin, - Aranmore, Aranbeg - Ennismain, Ennisker, - 2. INCUMBENTS, Whether having Cure of Souls; whether Refijent or Non- Refident; if Nor- Refident, for what Caufe ; and by whom the Duties are difcharged. 3- BENEFICES, When United, and by what Authority. Extent of Union about 40 The Revd Christopher Russell; miles, 4 Parishes; viz.— has cure of souls; and is resident. Ballynakill, Umma, Ballin- down, and Moyrus, conti- guous ; the rest detached, being islands. Not contiguous.— Extent computed to be 24 miles by Galway ; consisting of the Parishes of St. Nicholas, Galway Rahoon ------- Moycullin Kilcumin ------ Oranmore - Ballinacourtney - - - Shruel; with other Ec- clesiastical Rights and Emoluments - Episcopally united. The Revd Ralph Daly, appointed Warden under the Charter of the Corporation of Galway; non- re- sident; has cure of souls of all these Parishes. Duty in Galway performed by two resident: Vicars thereof, who arc elected annually under the Charter. The Warden has been always entitled to the Tythes and emoluments of the Parish of St. Nicholas, and to the three- fourth parts of the Tythes of the re- mainder of said Parishes. Right of presentation to the remaining fourth- part of the Tythes of the said Parishes belong to the Archbishop of Tuam and his Successors, in free disposal. The Warden and Vicars of Galway claim an exemp- tion from any jurisdiction of the Archbishop, except visiting. The Revd John Wilson, posses- sor of the fourth- part of the Tythes of the said Parishes of Rahcon, Moycullin, Kilcumin, Ballinacourt- ney; the Revd Robert Warren possessor of the fourth part of the tythes of Clare Galway ; the Rev . Maurice Mahon, possessor of the fourth part of the Tythes of the Parish of Oranmore; and the Revdi Alexander Arbuthnot, possessor of J the fourth part of the Tythes of the Parish of Shruel; and the said se- veral possessors have cure of souls of their said respective Parishes, but non- resident. No Curate. I 1 One Church, in the Town of GaKvay, in very wood repair, and known by the name of the Col- legiate Church of St- Nicholas, Gahvay. No Church in any of the other Parishes; but money has been lately granted by the Board of Firft Fruits for building a Church in the faic Parifh of Kilcumia. No Glebe Houfe or Glebe Land.
