18.6 No. DENOMINATION. Glehe and H ufe. Church. 105. Lemanaghan, a rectory. Held by faculty with Tcs 72 acres. No house. iauran. Church. 106. Clonmacncise, alias Seven churches. About 25 acres. House. Church. 107. Ryna, a rec. and vie. Gallon, a rec. and vie. An episcopa 225 acrcs. House. 1 union. Church. This Diocese has never had either Dean or Chapter, Their place is supplied by the Archdeacon and Synod. In the old Diocese of Cloumacknoise united to Meath in 1568, there is a Dean, but no other Dignitary or Prebendary. The foregoing is the most correct statement I have been able to make out of my registry.— With respect to RESIDENCE, I have no documents on which I could venture to make a return. Residence throughout the Diocese is strictly enjoyned at the annual visitations by the ordinary; and at the visitation of 1805, five incumbents only were absent, two with licence from the Bishop on account of ill health, and proceedings are carrying on against the other three for their non- residence. George Brabazon, Register of the Diocese of Meath.
