Those bearing names marked * are Licence Holders and should produce their licences. The first condition of a licence is that the holder shall preserve it and produce it when called upon by a Magistrate or Police Officer ; but it should be distinctly understood that a Licence Holder is not required to carry his licence upon him Before preferring a charge of failing to produce a licence it should be ascertained what the defaulter has to say vid* Sec. 5, Sub- Sec. 1, 27 & 28 Vict., Cap. 47, which requires a Licence Holder to produce his licence or show some reasonable excuse why he does not produce the same. ( cons.) and licence revoked, for false pretences ( 3 cases). Liberated on second licence ( which expires 18- 3- 26), 11- 1- 26, into the M. P. D. Failed to report on liberation. An engine driver ; native of Exeter. Sentenced at Wells Ass., 21- 10- 22, to 3 yrs. pen. ( and remanet of former sentence) for burglary. Liberated on licence ( which expires 20- 7- 26), 21- 8- 25, to Carnarvon. Reported at Carnarvon, 21- 12- 25, his intention of proceeding to Bangor, but failed to report there, and has not since been heard of. Pre. con. of larceny, warehousebreaking, housebreaking, countinghousebreaking and office- breaking. Known to Police at WOOTTON BASSET, BRISTOL, PENARTH, CARDIFF, TORPOINT, WESTON- SUPER- MARE, KEYNSHAM, TIVER- TON, SOUTHAMPTON, HIGH WYCOMBE and CHERTSEY.
